just got back from the golden taurus! we had a wonderful holiday are only regret is that we only went for 1 week instead of 2! don't listen 2 any bad reviews! pineda town is small but nice. but you have everything you need at the hotel with a shop just outside for anything you may want. the beach isn't the best and not safe for little ones as there is a BIG dip in the sea as soon as you get in to it! but with 5 pools who needs the sea :-) room cleaned everyday. we would def go back. well done thomsonat family another great family hotel!
We have just returned from our 7th holiday at Golden Taurus Park and what a great holiday it was. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Kelli (guest services) was still there to welcome everyone. Our room had a partially obstructed view but after mentioning this to Kelli we were offered a room overlooking one of the pools and the beach the next day. We were a bit limited with excursions as my mom has problems walking but we have been on most of them in previous years and there are some greats days out including Marineland and Barcalona. We didnt mind not going on any excursions as there is so much to do in and around the hotel we didnt get bored. This seasons entertainment/animacion team who organise and run activities all day everyday for adults and children such as football, archery, rifle shooting, waterpolo, bike excursions etc are really good. Very professional, hard working, entertaining and genuinely nice people. So well done Luciano, Audrey, Aurelie, Lisa and Fernando. We have always found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful, if you have a problem dont hesitate about telling the staff as im sure they will do all they can to help you. The only thing we found slightly annoying was the Thomson family club reps. I know its a big hotel but still I think 12 reps is a bit much! Also some of them seemed a bit big headed, asking for a round of applause for themselves when all they had done was read a quiz out and got some of that wrong! Definately reccommend this hotel to everyone. We had a great holiday and would like to thank Thomsons and all the staff at Golden Taurus Park. Already looking at prices for september so hopefullly see you all again soon!
Just got back from a fabulous week at the Golden Taurus Park Resort and as a family we all agreed that it was an excellent place to spend a holiday. All the staff were so helpful and hard working. The food was amazing and catered for all tastes, don't believe anyone who says otherwise. The pool area was kept spotless and you felt very safe, but be warned the outdoor pool is not heated but once you dive in you don't notice the cold!! The rooms were also kept clean by the cleaning staff who were extremely hardworking. TIP take a train into Barcelona, it's really easy to do, and cheaper! I cannot praise the Hotel enough, we had a fantastic time and would recommend it to all families. 5/5
I came here with my Dad, brother, Grandma and Uncle and I can honestly say it was the best holiday of my life! The food was amazing, the resort was totally cute and spanish and comforting. The pools were brilliant and the facilities were wonderful, there was so much to do! I cried 24/7 when I got home I missed it so much and I strongly recommend to anyone who is thinking of going here, you will not be let down!!! It is fantastic!
Went with my two older children aged 14 and 12 for days to this hotel. Was a little nervous travelling without my husband but due to work committments he was unable to come. We booked our flights with ryanair and the hotel through thomson. On arrival the reception staff were excellent. The food was great plenty of choice every morning and evening (as we were half board). The Thomson reps were outstanding from 10am through to midnight. Games for all the family. Great indoor pool. Would definately return to this hotel myself and the kids had a ball...
