it was a home from home..this was a girls break away with my sister-in-law...to have a rest from the family..what can i say it was very clean, food was so fresh and tasted great plus a good choice to choose from plus a kids buffet for them ...staff were very freindly and the hotel its shelf was very clean..the entertainments team were fantastic lead by zorro, haven't laughed like that for a long time...there was plenty to do,on the bottom floor by lifts was a large notice board letting you know what was on ...on wednesday we went to the hippy market...was alittle let down by this, want to see more choice of stalls there was to many clothes stalls no food stalls ...we were due to go to the cave but backed out after so many people said to us they didn't like it ...over all that was my only moan if you want a family holiday this place covers that plus if its just a couple going this hotel covers that as well ...have come home feeling very relaxed and wished we had book for 10 days, weather was brill beach was beautiful a couple of shop to hand if you needed anything ...if you smoked like my sister-in-law does then its a 10min bus ride into san miguel for ciggs....will be on my list of places to go back to again

only one complaint about hotel. the lifts were to small and there was only two of them. had to walk up to eighth floor to restaurant quite a few times.food was of a very good standard with something for everyone.would recommend this hotel to any family with kids loads going on all day long for all ages.

Myself, my husband and our two children (5 year old and 16 weeks old) went to this hotel for the second time in May for 10 days. We choose this hotel because having been there before we knew it was great for families and travelling with such a young child we wanted to stick with somewhere we knew, we were not dissapointed. Yet again this resort was brilliant for our 5 year old providing entertainment for him in the kids club and making it easy for us to enjoy our holiday knowing he was having a wonderful time. The food was great with plenty of variety from traditional British food to Chinese and even Mexican with plenty of choice and wonderful speciality evenings. The snacks are what you would expect them to be (toasted sandwiches, baquettes, etc.) but also a selection of fruit so you can still eat healthily, my son loved having fresh pineapple and watermelon by the pool. The Western Saloon provides kid frienly food all day long and lovely fresh popcorn which was a big hit with us. The staff are really friendly and could not do enough to help us with everything to make our holiday a little easier with the baby, even providing us with a tupperware container to steralise bottles in when ours broke. Entertainment is excellnt at this hotel, Zorro and his amazing team are just the best, we have never been to a hotel where the entertainment is so good. The professional acts are brilliant and every evening was different. Daytime entertainment is some thing for everyone but no pressure to get involved if you don't want to, just the right balance of relaxing and activity. The hotel is lovely and clean although slightly unusual in that the reception is on the top floor and you work your way down! Only down side really is the lifts, only two and at busy times especially around meal times you can sometimes have to wait ages. This was a particular problem for us as we were on floor 1 and had to use the lift with the baby's pram and a five year old. On one occasion we waited 20 minutes to get up to our evening meal on the 8th floor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a family or looking for a relaxing break in an extermely picteresque setting. I would not recommend for anyone wanting the clubbing aspect of the Island. Can't wait to return.
