Arrived at reus had to wait half an hour queueing to get out of airport.queued half an hour to book in.Having been to Avenida suites twice before we thought there might be a bit of loyalty but no stuck on 6th floor facing busy road and 2 stagnant pools .Third and last time .Next time Dorada Palace,or Saloo Princess.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Golden Avenida. Staff, Restaurant, Rooms & facilities were all first class. We had our Grandkids with us (5 & 18 months) & the Pool area was ideal for them with plenty of shallow paddling areas. I would recommend this hotel for any one with young Children.
hotel is one not to be missed , friendly welcome from landing to going home. All hotel staff were brilliant ,fantastic atmosphere ,hotel clean and 10min walk to the beach, Thomson reps available on hand every day, really kept everyone entertained young and old throughout the day and night.We went as a couple and even though we didnt have children with us we intend to go back late summer as we thought the hotel had so much to offer. the resort is clean and there is lots to do. Only downside was the Thompson excursions were over priced in our opinion. Theme park is a must to do. Must mention a big thank you to Sarah on reception desk excellent customer service always smiling and good resort advise. Also a huge thank-you to David, Wan, Pepe, Osha and bar staff,bar service was brill ,we asked for a certain brand of alcohol which they didnt stock but by the end of the week they had got it in just for us thats what you call true customer service!!!!! The food choice and service in the hotel restaurant were brilliant plus bar meals were excellent. All in all a fantastic holiday from relaxing by the pool, joining in Thompson daytime activities(quiz etc) food and drink,lovely weather,resort and hotel. Well done Thompson and Golden Avenida. ps keep the Captain Morgan on ice, Paul and Di.
