Just stayed at the Taurito Princess in Gran Canaria and had a fabulous time, I could not fault the hotel for any aspect, although there is some building work on a neighbouring hotel being undertaken, but is near completion and didn't really affect anything in the hotel. this is undoubtably the finest place I have stayed at in any Spanish resort... Excellent!!!

i am sitting at college right now reading some of the reviews other people have written and having to stop myself laughing out loud!!! Some of the things people have written are very different to what i saw when i stayed at the taurito princess. Such as evryone who is complaining about the free busses only running in the morning and coming back too early, they could have paid less that 2 euros to go round to Mogan evry 20 mins!! and as for the no inflatables in the pool rule...not any more, my younger brother had inflatable toys in the pool and there was other children with big blow up dolphins that the kids loved!! Also the seats in the salon princess may look old fashioned but they were very comfy. However i do have to agree about the layout of thie entertainment room, as sometimes it was difficult to see the shows. finally about the hotel being built next door...it is almost finished now and could barely even hear it from anywhere in the hotel unless you were in the far right rooms. I loved this hotel!

My family and I stayed at Taurito, in the Taurito Princess, for one week. Personally I loved everything about the hotel; this includes the food quality, the pools, the service, the rooms and the atmosphere throughout the week. The beach was only a one minute walk from the hotel and it was a very clean and friendly place. We went on the Banana Boat twice while we were there and we loved it! We also went on a five minute bus ride (on the hotel's free bus) to Mogan where we went on The Yellow Submarine; this was also very enjoyable and great fun for my younger brother as well as the rest of us. There was plenty for my four year old brother to do as the hotel ran a Mini Mini Mini Club during the day with games and activities to do and a Kids Disco every evening. We also planned on going to AquaLand but unfortunately we found out (as we arrived) that it was closed because of the rain, however they did allow us to exchange our AquaLand tickets for Palmitos Park tickets. This park would have been fairly good any other day as it was pouring with rain when we went so we spent most of the time under cover in the Parrot show area. Apart from one day of rain the whole week was excellent! I would recommend it to anyone with or without younger family.

I would like to ask why your brochure for 2008/09 shows sun lounges on the beach by the hotel, but are no longer there. On asking the Thompson Rep we were informed the Council just came along one day at the beginning of last year and took them away. I would also like to ask why there is no mention in your brochure about the extensive building work going on next to the hotel, and which has been going on for some considerable time. Apart from the obvious concerns the road outside must surely be a Health Safety issue. Your rep informed us they had started it approximately 8 years ago. The plane on the homeward journey was very unpleasant. It was very noisey, crammped and dirty. The toilet we used at the front of the plane stank of urine and was filthy and there was no toilet roll or paper towels. There shold be no excuse for this, but as we used the toilet only a short way into the journey it makes it worse! Could you also tell me make of the plan we travelled home in and who owned it please?

this was our first family holiday abroad and it was perfect. we had a suite on the 6th floor the room was very spacious and very clean and the view was surperb.all staff were friendly, kind and were happy to assist anytime.the food was excellient and very well presented.the snack bar is ideal if you just fancy burgers, hotdogs, pizza, chips etc during the day. the entertainment was great and the animation team really worked hard to keep all the kids busy allday with competitions. the whole resort is beautifully kept and very clean.the private beach is very clean and makes a difference to have black sand.there are some lovely souvenir, dutyfree and a spar shop next to the hotel if you've forgotten anything.we met lots of friendly familys so the kids had plenty of playmates.we didn't go on any excursions as they were quite expensive.but you dn't really need to leave the resort it has everything you need.this is a perfect place to go if you want a break from reality and away from busy towns.we are really glad that we chose the taurito princess and i would deffinatly recommend going all inclusive to anyone. the only honest downfalls was the lifts kept breaking down and its a long walk up the stairs if your past the 2nd floor. the resort had quite alot of one perticular group of people who we found to hog the sunbeds from 5am in the morning and were quite rude and tend to barge you out of the way.the rep told us to let them have their own way not to cause trouble.didn't we pay for our holiday to? if you do venture out of the resort be careful not to get conned into anvi timeshares you will be offered free taxis to shopping centers and vouchers and a chance to go to the white sand beach to draw you in. dn't except unless you interested. other than that it really was our first perfect family holiday. and will probably return in yrs to come.
