On arrival at the Taurito Princess, I thought that on first impressions it looked a little tired and could possible benefit from a lick of paint here and the velour chairs in the the main entertainment area looked as though they had come out of an 80's night club. However, as our week went on and we settled into the place, these things became less noticable all in all, a nice hotel with very nice, helpful staff. my kids aged 15 and 11 had a great time with all the activities and they met some nice friends. Food was amazing - there was such variety at every sitting. Final verdict - not as palatial or luxurious as the Mogan princess on the hill but that has the drawback of being very islolated. I didn't see many of the acts as it is not my thing but the comments I heard from others were positive. the piano bar is a very nice and intimate place for couples whilst the main entertainment area was for young kids to run around in while the parents chilled out. The rule is that there were to be no unattended towels on then beds before 10am but this wasn't adhered to by most. The beds around the pool area got very busy and were full by 9.30am some days. Nice hotel, great staff, very clean so i'm happy !
Everything about this hotel was good. The people on reception spoke good English and were very helpful. The restaurant and snack bar served fresh hot good food, something for everyone, from 2 choices of soup, meat and fish dishes salads and cold meats, full English at breakfast and a wide variety of desserts at lunch and dinner. The rooms were reasonably sized and were cleaned every day. The communal areas (bars, snack bar etc.) were cleaned constantly and the toilets on the ground and first floors were cleaned every 2 hours up to 23.30. My wife and I (in our late fifties) throughly enjoyed our stay here and will return. It is an ideal place to chill but is no good if you want an exciting nightlife as there isn't any. There is very little to see or do in the resort unless you take the trips. There is a daily courtesy bus to Morgan, which is nice with its own Marina. There is also a courtesy bus twice a week to Maspolomas. The daytime entertainment in the hotel was good (water polo, table tennis, archery etc.) but you are not pressurised to take part if you do not want to. The live evening entertainment was O.K. but wasn't really for us, too many dancing troops. The alternative was the quieter piano bar with the resident pianist 6 nights a week. The 2 pool areas were good with plenty of sun loungers and parasols, there was also a sizeable area with loungers and parasols away from the hustle and bustle of the pool area where you can have a quiet read or a snooze. The beach is adacent to the hotel and isn't crowded. Although we did not have any children with us the hotel seemed to cater for the young families very well as we did not hear any complaints. Anyone who ctriticises this hotel must have had a really experience as we could not fault it. The only thing we could fault about this holiday was the amount of leg room (or lack of it) on the outbound and inbound flights operated by First Choice. We have travelled on many flights but these were the worst we have ever been on. We were very cramped for 4.1/2 hours and we haven't got particularly long legs. We will not be travelling with First Choice again in a hurry. All in all we would recommend this hotel to anybody who wanted a quiet, relaxing out of the way holiday.
Have just return from a week at the Taurito Princess Hotel in Playa Taurito and although we enjoyed the week just relaxing we were disappointed in the standard of the hotel. Having been twice to the Maspalomas Princess the Taurito Princess was not quite up to the standard of the Maspalomas Hotel on all things Cleanliness, comfort and service. When we booked we knew it would be quiet and it certainly was there is nothing to do unless you are into water sports or sun bathing. There is no where to walk at this resort and the beach has the dark oily sand. We will certainly use the Princess hotles again but not to the Tauriot Princess.
WHAT CAN I SAY WHAT A LAUGH WE AHD ON THIS HOIDAY. IF YOU WANT LOUD AND NOISY THEN DONT GO. THE HOTEL WAS QUIET AND THAT WAS BLISS FOR ME. I WENT WITH MY HUBBY AND LITTLE GIRL WHO IS 7. THE KIDS CLUB WAS BRILL FOR HER AS SOME OF THE DAYS WERE OVER 40 DEGREES. THE ENTRTAINEMNT AT NIGHT WAS NOT BAD BUT THE BEST NIGHT WAS TEH NIGHT OF THE 4 TOPS EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE ONLY 3 OF THEM. ALSO IF ANYONE WAS THERE THE DAY WHNE THE WOMEN PLAYED TEH MEN AT VOLLEYBALL IN THE POOL WELL I WAS THE ONE IN THE NET AND WE WON. WE ARE GOING TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR AND MEET UP WITH THE PEOPKLE THAT WE MET LAST YEAR, WHICH IS A FIRST AS I NEVER GO BACK TO THE SAME HOTEL.
myself my husband and our son had a fantastic holiday. so much for the children to do. weather was great and the food was excellent staff were friendly and helpful we stayed mostly on the complex as we just wanted to relax while our son could not get enough of the activities we would definately go back again. on a friday night it is worth going out to sioux city original set where clint eastwood filmed a fist full of dollars.
