We spent 2 weeks at the lenaki appartments, we loved every minute there, when we go back to kos that's where we will be staying from now on. They are run by a really nice greek family, who made us feel welcome from the second we arrived till the second we left. There is genuine sense of care for the people staying and a great relaxed atmosphere. The room was perfect for us and was well kept and clean, the cleaners came in every day we were there and changed bedding, cleaned floors, clean towels, bathroom etc.... the grounds were well looked after and looked nice espescially the lemon trees next to our room, the lemon slices were ideal with the vodka : ) . There is a swimming pool, with a jacuzzi spa and a small pool for the kids, there is also a play area with swings, see saw small round about and climbing frame all surrounded by soft grass ( so no grazed knees ). Big screen T.V at the bar which was nicely furnished and had a pool table also, it was relaxed to be there and stamatis/stephen is always happy to keep them drinks coming, good work ste : ) . Food was available at the bar all day and was nice but maria makes the best cheese and ham toastie you will ever have, thx maria : ) . Yanni/john is the man who is there to make it all work and all of the staff were friendly and very helpful, they gave us great advice on where to visit and also arranged a hire car to be delivered and were great to just sit and talk to. We will miss them all. Located just on the out skirt of kos town we found it to be idealy located, just a 10-15 minute walk to the town center and the harbour, the beach about the same, but away from all the noise so it was nice and quiet at night. The island has lots to offer sights, places to visit, great history, pubs, clubs, bars and fantastic food. A bit of something for everyone. We go away every year and go to different places, we still will visit other places but will be making the lenaki and kos a regular place to go from now on.
