Majorca is a lovely island and we would certainly visit again although at a different time of year. When we visited (23-30 Oct) the weather was not at its warmest and it was the last week our hotel was open for the season, presumably this applied to most accommodation in the resort as throughout the week shops and restaurants were closing down. Caves of Drach are well worth a visit as is Palma with its lovely Cathedral and shops a plenty. The monastery at Lluc and the tram/railway at Soller. We also visited the safari-zoo though thought this was expensive for what it was. Local buses are frequent and inexpensive. Hire a car to reach some of the 'out of the way' places. This is an impressive hotel and everything the brochure implies but it is definitely a family hotel and I wouldn't recommend it for couples. Even on a quiet week the children run riot and although they have their own entertainment in the bar they are still running riot through the evening entertainment, hence we didn't view any of this but there was something different on each night. Very helpful reception staff.

We have stayed in Sa Coma twice. This was the first time in the Vista Badia. I thought it was the best one out of the four proctur hotels but they were all good and you can use the other hotel facilities. The entertainment was'nt great but funny to watch. We were self catering the balcony's were good lovely tiled floors and the apartment was adeqate 2 ring cooker, microwave, fridge, flat screen TV with british channels, shower and bath big waredrobes. Cleaners came every day except Tuesday and Saturday. The local supermarket Eroski is just around the corner. The best place for eating out is JJ's opposite Eroski's they use fresh vegetables and their mash is to die for-approx 8 euros for a meal. The worst place we thought to eat was the Kings Head just next to hotel - approx 8 euros again but instant mash. Our 13 year old got spagetti bolognaise and the spaggetti was liked melted plastic. There is a burger king near the beach and it's OK but a bit pricey compared to the UK. Going back to the hotel they had plenty of activities on offer - a small nature farm for wee ones, an adventure playground, shooting range, etc. The also have a small water park La Reservia within the complex of hotels next to the mini golf. This is lovely during the summer you can eat in there as well. There is a cost but it's discounted if you stay at ones of the hotels. when we went though in October there was no food at La reservia as it was near the end of season so the park was opened while ever it was sunny and it was free. They do have free wireless connection if you sit in the reception area which a few people seemed to do. They also had 2 computers but it was 1 euro for 10 minutes. Overall we enjoyed our holiday at Vista Badia and we are hoping to go back next year. I would definately recommend it.

You cannot fail to appreciate the care the staff take to ensure you have a excellent time. Cleaning is constant, food very good-also you have selection of four other rurants. Generous size apartments-with large balconies on 3rd and 4th floors. bbc1-bbc2-itv granada all on a flat screen tv. Entertainment must be addressed by management-poor quality & repetitive childrens entertainment. On bus route to nearby towns and palma. Beautiful clean wide beaches.
