well we just came back from Turkey today. Two adults and 3 children, when we first got there we were shocked at the rooms they were really basic with just a bed, but we got over it. The staff are really friendly and most speak good English. The pool is great and the children loved it but the waters sooo cold. The food is running all day and its okay they have similar food every day but its nice. The entertainment team are amazing, they are helpful and really friendly. There is an open bar all day, and there is always something to do. It is in an amazing area with lots of bars, clubs and shopping places all on the beach front. The beach is okay but its not really how they describe it, i enjoyed sitting on the beach on a nice hot day. The local shops are great and the clothes are really cheep. I would recomend it to friends and family and hopefully i will visit again soon. x

arrived at this hotel 17th aug 2008 we were took to another block when we got in the room, my jaw dropped it was awful, a tiny room with hardly a balcony, and an even smaller shower, carpets in room were manky and they were curled up in the middle of room, we complained to thomson rep along with another group of people, as it wasnt what it described in brochure, we were transfered to another hotel which was exellent. if going to marmaris do not stay here. food was every meal chicken and not very appetising. we ate out for every meal, didnt mind paying as food outside hotel was fantastic.

after hearing mixed reviews about this resort i was a little wary of what we might find when we arrived, however upon arrival i cast these doubts aside. This was an absolutely fantastic resort, i cannot fault club nergis beach or marmaris one bit. The locals are so friendly and the hotel staff were pleasant and polite. we particularly enjoyed the spectacular views from our bedroom. There is plenty to do while out and about in marmaris, i recomend spending a day on one of the many boat trips on offer. One of our favourite bars while staying was the captains kareoke bar situated just a few yards along from club nergis beach on the sea front. The welcome meeting held at the hotel by the thompson staff was interesting and informative, well worth a listen. We truely had a wonderful stay, the only negative thing being.... 7 nights was just not enough!!!! we'll be back next year!! 10/10!

Got back yesterday after staying here for a week all inclusive with my 2 year old Daughter. We were in Jasmine Block which didnt have the best views but the rooms were family rooms which meant as well as a bedroom you had a seperate living area too. The room was clean and looked nice. The cleaners were in everyday and changed the bedding, towels etc and made the bed look so pretty with the sheets and rose petals etc. The food was ok, it varied mainly between beefburgers, chicken dishes and stews but also had the option of Rice, Pasta and Chips every day plus extra dishes etc were served in the day....the Pizza was delicious, the food was never cold but not red hot neither but that was only because of the serving area near the poolside, we did really enjoy it and they also put chicken nuggets etc on for the kids and plenty of salad and vegetables. Breakfast was lovely, Omlettes cooked whilst you waited or Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Chocolate Sauce..MMM. The staff did speak good English and the Waiters were very friendly and cleaned your old plates etc away instantly, the bar did finish at 11pm but started at 10am so long enhough to get a few Beers in and the measures were very good indeed. It is definately more a 3 * than a 4* as choice of foods is limited and decor could be revamped etc, we had no problems woth sunloungers on the beach or poolside but I can understand people complaining as in high season it would be quite crammed and probably nit enough beds to go around. The only downside was their was no park for the kids but there is one on the seafront a bit further down the road so not too bad and the beach is small and a little dirty but thats in general as its litter from all the pubs and clubs surrounding it which gets blown on but to be honest its still ok for the kids and the views are lovely. A fry up in the local bars costs about #2 and to be honest most shops preferred english pounds instead of Lira so dont change too much cash before you go. Marmaris overall is lovely, great bargains to be had, plenty to see and visit and I will definately take my family back there!

we have just come back after a week in marmaris the place it self was realy nice but the hotel was a disgrace it was nothing like what we were told there were neva eny sun loungers free unless you got up at 3 to put towels on them the pools wernt child frendley they were to deep the pool with the slide was atleast 5 foot deep the food was always cold the day we got there it was midnite when we got there there was no food or drink and my son was tirerd and hungery we had to walk 20 min to find a take away we were shown photos of the new hotel then given a room in the old one we were told there was a kettel microwave in the room but there were nothing there we would never stay there again or recomend it the staff didnt understand english and the beach was nastey
