This hotel is not the cheapest but when we booked it we went for luxury and service. We were not disappointed. The staff were faultless in their prompt and friendly service. The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by gardens with a fabulous sea view. Bird watchers won't be disappointed staying here. Didn't really make the most of the spa since we were out touring but the pools are well worth while using. Best for older couples, very few kids which suited us.
This holiday was booked for a special occasion and it was our first visit to Madeira. The Cliff Bay Hotel had been recommended to us but it far exceeded our expectations. The staff were courteous, friendly and very helpful and this was from everyone from the porters, dining room staff, bars, reception and management. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and we will be returning.
