Great family run hotel that has a fantastic restaurant the "Love Boat", good value for money. If you want a quieter resort then Icmeler is the place, the next village along from the busy bustling resort of Marmaris.

The Devamli has a first class restaurant, set up as a type of cruise ship restaurant complete with imitation portholes lit up blue in the evening. The waiters are in naval type uniform with insignia denoting rank. Due to its popularity in the town, if you are half board you have to dine between 6.30pm and 7.30pm as it fills up later. The rooms are in need of refurbishment, as our room had chipped floor tiles and MFI type furniture, which made it difficult to open the wardrobe initially. Being very central you are bombarded with competing music from the various bars, but they are forced to cease at 12.30, but you can watch the world go by from your balcony. There is a nice sun terrace with jacuzzi and a lower pool area adjacent to the bar. All the staff are very friendly. Due to bee hives in the hills being shut up, the bees come down and are a nuisance on the beach and several people were stung. There is a canal across from the hotel which runs down to the sea and is made more attractive by the boats and Venice type bridges across it. Although a lengthy walk to Marmaris, it is a lovely paved walkway alongside the sea all the way.
