Myself and my partner went last year and found the whole two weeks amazing from the hotel in general to the food and day/eve entertainment, in fact we have just booked to go again this year.Thank you to all the staff at the Princess and Thompson
We normally stay at the Bitacora this Hotel is far nicer than the Princess, although the beds and rooms were very clean we had no bidet or fridge (the fridge was extra) Wine now purchased at the table has to be taken away with you that night and you are not allowed to bring it back to the reasturant the following evening. The swimming pool was heated it was very nice for the children but lots of tiles were missing from the bottom it needed attention. Overall the Resort is wonderful, clean lots of nice shops and places to eat we will return next year but will try for our favourite the Bitacora.
Room very tired, right over front door, cleaning pract non existant, as with other reports people queing up from 7-30 am then a mad charge when the doors open and (english not germans) running round with at least a dozen towels filling up all the best sun beds then vanishing for the day. Complaints to reception and pool attendant fell on deaf ears. Not a place to recommend unless your an athletic long armed insomniac.
Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Staff extremely friendly, enjoying a joke, and could not be more helpful. Without exception they were only too happy to assist with the slightest request. This was especially so in the restaurant where the food variety and quality was fit for even the most picky.
