Hotel rooms decoration a little tired but the maid service and cleanliness was good. It had all the facilitites we needed. There was entertainment every night which closed at 11.00 and all was quite by midnight. A twenty minute walk from the port or centre of the town by the sea. the hotel waiters and receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. Good value for money.

Weather, Apartment, Food and location were very good. But don't get talked in to any excursion.

Booked an excursion and were left waiting for 30 minutes before i went back to hotel and told the rep, only to find out it had been cancelled and she didn't look at her messages, 342 unred messages she told me, did spoil the holiday somewhat, and that was on top of attending the welcome meeting to be told we would have a letter put through our door 24 hours before departure to let us know the details of departure, guess what, never ever got a letter and had to chase the rep for details. Looking back i would have been better off booking flight and hotel myself without going through Thomsons, shame because i had a great holiday and experience with them at the Dominican Republic.

Have to think twice what i do next time.

What a brilliant holiday at the mayfair hotel in paphos.Just had 2 fantastic weeks there on all inclusive basis.Brilliant food,brilliant service,brilliant weather.As stated in previous reviews,a 3 star hotel with 5 star service.GREAT effort n talent from the girls n boyz of the entertainment team.My wife and i would recommend this haven to anyone.Go n treat urself.All staff from the cleaners to the bar,restaurant and reception guys were superb, friendly and helpful ALWAYS. Special thanks to GEORGE on the reception desk,cheers for all your help, oh and enjoy your fishing trips in the AKAMAS REGION.

We must have stayed at a different hotel to those who have given such bad reviews of the Mayfair.

We were four adults and two young girls(11&8) with ajoining ground floor rooms by the pool,the rooms were cleaned every day and clean towels provded except Sunday .

We were all inclusive the food was good with plenty of choice and all you could eat ,and always served hot .The dining room spotless the staff freindly and helpful.

The pool was clean with plenty of sun beds .

The value for money was excellent for a three star hotel ,and we would return again .

The Thomson rep was around most days and always helpful

It was definately what it said on the tin 3* and no more. We booked all inclusive and expected a hotel room but were put into a studio room. We were greeted by an army of ants all over the floor of the balcony and room, the toilet was a toilet the bath was stained with rust as was the shower curtain and the sealant round the bath was black that combined with very low lighting made it a dingy hole. We did, however, get clean towels 5 days a week and the sheets were changed as well. The food was tasty enough but very poor choice for lunch and dinner and chips with everything. In public areas everything was cleaned thoroughly every day and throughout the day but the best thing of all was the entertainments team and for that reason we might consider a return sometime in the future.
