Excellent location, right on the beach, approximately a 25 minute stroll to the harbour area. Clean but very tired hotel, bedrooms need updating, bathrooms are the worst 4 star bathrooms I have ever seen. Great outdoor pool area and gardens, food was also very good and varied. Entertainment was mostly done by the hotel animation team was good to start with but became a little boring the second week. Enjoyed the holiday but the hotel does not deserve the 4T rating.
me and my wife stopped at the ledra beach on the 17dec 2008 for 3 weeks, it was the best all inclusive holiday we ever had, i would recommend this hotel first rate rooms, food excelent, entertainment great, im on the computer booking 4 next year now, loads of sunbeds, lovely pools, all the staff are good, any bad write ups on this hotel, then people are very hard to please, the bay in the town is very nice you can have a nice stroll along the beach walkway, after food you will need it, i cant praise this hotel enough
Having stayed at The Ledra Beach Hotel from the 6th december to the 13th 2008 on an all inclusive basis. we can not fault anything, on checking in we were greeted with a most welcome glass of fresh orange, reception staff were very helpful & all spoke very good english. We found our room on the 1st floor very spacious with a bottle of wine & a bowl of fresh fruit awaiting. The towels were laid out on the bed in the shape of swans really nice touch. The resturant was nice & airy, plenty of selection if you cant find anything you like your to fussy. There are snacks served all day in the bar by the pool the local drinks you got on all inclusive were really good with plenty of selection there as well. The location is brilliant right on the beach with two outdoor pools but to cold to use in december, but the indoor pool was lovely with warm water, plus it was all one depth, the animation staff were good with diffrent activities all day & at night they put on good shows, also they mingled in with all the guests there a friendly bunch. I would advise anyone to stay at the Ledra Beach for location, food & cleanliness as i say we could not fault it in anyway, we cant wait to return.
Had a wonderful time at the ledra beach, the food was excellent, the staff brilliant, reception great, bar staff second to none, animation team in my experience absolutely amazing, Never a dull moment, in a nutshell couldnt fault anything enjoyed holiday from start to finish, well done all of you you are well worth reccommending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have just returned from two weeks of great Winter sunshine spent at the Ledra Beach hotel. The hotel was wonderful, very attentive staff, super clean rooms although in need of updating, which we understand is due to happen soon, and the best Annimation team we have ever come across. Will and his team were always on hand to keep everybody entertained but would take no for an answer if a quiet sunbathe was all you required. The evening entertainment finished with Shake it Up, an animated song for all to join in. The first few nights we sidled out with a not for me thankyou but by the end of week one we were joining in with the rest and having a great time. The trip to the North was well worth the long drive and the booking office opposite the Hotel offered this at a much more reasonable price. We hired a car with Horizon and to make the experience more pleasurable were given suggested routes and maps, very helpful. We met up with a lot of people who had stayed here several times and we have no doubt that we will go back again in the not too distant future.
