Loved the resort - quiet and picturesque and a good standard of hotel. A quiet area but easy transportation around the island. Entertainment team were great - Bex and Kate in particular. Although young they were enthusiastic, polite and great fun. Bex is a great dancer and presenter whilst Kate has a lovely voice to go with her presentation skills. They also complement each other and we liked seeing them perform together. We would have liked to see more of Bex's dancing though. The resident duo, Bridie and Joel, were excellent - loved the party sets. Didn't think much of the production team (although we only got to see one show - fiesta fiesta). Loved the Elton Tribute - what an act! We only went on one trip to Son Amar which was excellent. Stephen was our rep and he as great fun and very informative and helpful. In fact all the rep team at Playa Camp de Mar were good. In all a great holiday and we cant wait to go again.

I was left greatly disappopinted with the general standard of this hotel. Room 301 in which we stayed was directly above the entrance and opposite another hotel. The noise overnight was awful, delivery trucks, reversing buses, refuse lorries emptying glass banks and motorbikes blasting along. The bathroom was UNCLEAN and general decor very poor. The jacuzzi pool outside was mouldy and extremely smelly. A member of maintenance staff used a very noise machine every day to "blow" the leaves and debris from around the pool when a sweeping brush would have been more effective and much less noisy. The hotel requires a complete overhaul. Unfortunately the worst aspect of the holiday was the Thomson Gold Team, particularly the leader. She was unhelpful to say the least, bordering on downright rude. One of her colleagues, a young man, was totally disinterested and appeared to be on holiday himself. The saving grace was the food and the standard of service provided by the restaurant staff. The food was generally of high standard, good choice and always plenty of it. I would most certainly not visit again.

We have just spent one week with another couple at this beautiful hotel which we last visited over 10 years ago. If you want a relaxing holiday where there are no children, excellent food and views then this is the hotel for you. We had a sea view room with the most fantastic scenery and so quiet. There are a few bars around but quite expensive to eat and drink. The hotel prices for lunch time menu and drinks was very reasonable for a 4 star hotel. Entertainment if you want it during the day organised by the reps and the evening entertainment was quiet varied. The Manager and the staff at the hotel were very helpful, courteous and certainly friendly. The food was very varied, infact too much choice and excellent both for breakfast and evening meal. Not a good hotel to go to if you are on a diet. Would definitely recommend it if you want a quiet, chilled out holiday with excellent food and surroundings. If you want plenty of nighlife the resorts close by provide that. If I had any criticism it would be that the rooms could do with a bit of up-dating but apart from that no faults. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be going back next year.

Have recently returned from this resort, and must say that thouroughly enjoyed the location and hotel. Made to feel very welcome, hotel manager is always on hand to ensure everything is to the standard that you expect. Staff very friendly and always willing to help if they can. Food was excelent, and plenty of it and such a varied choice. Rooms, although not the Ritz are comfortable and ideal for the purpose they are required. There is enough shops around the location to take care of most needs, as well as getting the morning English newspaper in the morning in time for breakfast from the little Kiosk across the road. We also attended one excursion while we were there, going up to see the Orange blossom trail, which involved a bus, boat, tram, and a train journey, guide was exellent, and the scenery breathtaking. The entertainment in the hotel during the day is good also, the Thomson reps try to keep things rolling, and they do it quite well, just gives you an excuse to carry out an activity to break the monotony. However what i would say on that is, they should look at the age group they are catering for at times and set the entertainment during the day against that. All in all though the complex was great, 10 metres away you have the beach, with the cafe in the middle, and the beach is great, never really overcrowded, and plenty of room to laze around if that is what you want. The water is so clean and just so inviting to get in and have a swim. Then out for a coffee in the Island bar, or if you are more adventurous jump on the Catamaran and go for a sail around the place. Right then i think that about sums most of the things up, but to summarise, great location, quiet secluded, so if it is night clubs that you are after then this is not the place for you i am afraid.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Playa Camp de Mar hotel. We had a excellent holiday, absolutely no negatives from us. On entering the room first thing l always do is check the bathroom to see how clean it was just spotless. The curtains were closed in the room I pulled them back and WOW!!!! What a fabulous view it was just breathtaking. The Hotels comfort cleanliness, food entertainment, food staff food, reps fooood all spot on. The beach is just gorgeous warm clean and clear with the most softess sand ever and very safe for young and old alike. We have stayed at many hotels and this is the best yet. If you would like a beautiful quiet and peaceful location this is the Hotel for you. If you want more shops bars and clubs you can hire a taxi or go on a short bus ride to near by resorts. Would most certainly recommend this hotel.
