Benidorm is perfect in late May. Lovely weather and not quite as crowded as the main summer months. The hotel Don Pancho is well situated close to the Beach and to the town centre. The hotel facilitiities are good, it's very clean, rooms are quite spacious, particularly on the top floor (17th) which has been completely refurbished with new bathrooms, carpets, furniture and redecorated. Food is very good, plenty of choice and well cooked. The staff, reception, dining room and maid service is first class, friendly and pleasant. The hotel does not particularly cater for children although you may find a few staying there. However, the hotel is a good class hotel and is suitable, in my opinion for older guests. Children etc are not allowed pool games, balls etc and no diving, consequently the sunbathing area and pool are very appropriate for those who wish for a quite sun bathing area and to use the pool for swimming. No loud music, a more refined area and hotel ideal for those who want a quieter base for their holiday without noisy children.
