We have just returned for the hotel Haiti, overall the holiday was very good. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The bedrooms are quite small and if a third person is in the room there is not much room to move around and if you hit you feet on the metal bed legs- it really hurts.... The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of food, but the evening meals were very bland and tasteless. The hotel is in an excellent location and only a short walk to the wonderful beach and sand sculptures.
Having read some of the reviews for this hotel we were pleasantly surprised. (Think some people pay 3 star prices but expect 5 star Hotel) Ok the room was on the small side with three beds in, but for how long you are actually in your room does it really matter. The downside was the legs on the beds, they did protude as the reviews said and yes we did stub our toes many times! The entertainment team Cheryl and Gavin were fantastic, they obviously enjoy what they are doing and have so much time for the kids and adults in whichever activity they were doing. The outside entertainment was good too, which came to the hotel 3 times a week. Food was delicious, although a bit repetetive but was always hot and cooked well. The 10 minute walk down to the beach was well worth it, lovely sand with clear blue water really safe for families with young children, there is also a few lifeguards on duty which is nice to know. Plenty of shops, bars and Restuarants. Will definitely use Thomson again as their service was brilliant, from checking in at Gatwick to greeting us at Palma and the return back to Gatwick could not be faulted. Must give a mention to the two Thomson Reps, Hollie and Marko, from our arrival to day of departure they were always there when they said they would be to give help and advice without being too pushy, some of the trips were quite expensive but they suggested for you to go on them but you never felt obliged to go. I had to see a Doctor while there for my Prickly Heat and again they were there to help me and was concerned for the rest of my holiday. (Hope you read this Hollie Marko). All in all we really enjoyed this holiday. Thank you Thomson. Christine, Dave (Peter) Rosie (10) - 22nd May - 2nd June, 2009.

The Hotel Haiti is ideally situated just a 5 min walk from the beach. The staff are all very friendly especially Juan the bar manager and Gavin & Cheryl the entertainment staff who are both completely mad as hatters. They made our holiday. The entertainment catered for all ages, from the kids activities in the day to tribute bands, bingo and dancing at night. The rooms were spotless and were cleaned every day. The food was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family & friends, infact we are thinking of booking again for next year along with other guests from the hotel that we met during our stay.
Fabulous place just got back today. Hotel staff are great very helpful nice meals and good entertainment if you want to stay in the Hotel if not plenty of bars around the area to choose from, not too far to the beach either we enjoyed it so much the children want to go back ...
