Have stayed here many times and must say the location is excellent. The rooms are clean and maid service is excellent. Food is nice but if you stay longer than a week, it does tend to get boring. the hotel staff in general are polite and pleasant at all times. not much entertainment for night time, but i must say it really isnt needed because of the amount of bars and pubs around. the one thing that i miss is a nice irish coffee before i go to bed. with the bar shutting early this is impossible. the bar does shut at 1 am but the coffee machines are turned off earlier than that. nevertheless we have booked for a few days may 2008.

We wanted a beach holiday and time to chill out from our busy work schedules. We are in our late thirties and early fourties. We booked via teletext holidays two weeks before departure. We had read mixed reviews about this hotel and were a little anxious but when we arrived we were pleasantly suprised. Room was clean and tidy but maids came very early every morning and when on hols it's nice to have a lie in!! Food choice was good and well presented but prepare to wait if you want toast...very slow toaster!! We were half board but the food became a little monatonous and we found a wonderful Indian restaurant just outside Palm Nova called the Poonam. My husband and I had a lovely relaxed week of sunbathing on the beautiful beach, just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel pool area is a little shabby and guests rush out every morning before breakfast to put towels on the loungers. Music is played at poolside and it was all a bit noisey! The nightlife was a little too rowdy for me and I preferred to stay well away from the main street of Magaluf after 10pm. Foxy's on the beach front IS WELL WORTH WALKING ALONG THE PROMENADE FOR...superb! The staff were very friendly and the comfy scatter cushions and relaxing chilled out music made this the perfect place to spend an evening looking out over the sea. Try their cocktails! We didn't have a daily tour rep but it is easy to book day excursions and boat trips from the kiosk by the beach front. We went out on The Dolphin catamaran for a 2hr 'cruise'. Most of that time is spent stopping off at various inlets for more passengers to embark but it was a pleasant break from sunbathing. We also hired a little jet hovercraft, 20 euros for 30mins. This was great fun but beware the speed boats trailing 'victims' on rubber rings behind them! I would definately recommend Sol Trinidad for location, cleanliness and food but the entertainment wasn't great. The team worked hard and were very friendly but for adults the evening programme wasn't worth hanging around the hotel for. Magaulf certainly is a place for the young wanting a wild time but it also caters for the older holiday makers. However, if I was to go back I would choose Palma Nova.

This is the third time i have been to Magaluf and this is the best hotel i have stayed at. The rooms are very clean and tidy and everything is just a few minutes walk away. (Beach, waterpark, Pirates, BCM, McDonald) Food in the hotel was excellent and something for everyone. Great for younger people whether in a group or couple, but beware if not into late nights!

We have been going to the Sol Trinidad for 15 years we went on the 14th of may 2007 for 1 week. We found when we arrived drunken yobs in rooms and around both pools were badly behaving by swearing and pulling trousers down at 11AM!!. Police were called twice within 1 week we had no sleep and had to also change rooms twice. We believe now that the Sol Trinidad does not cater for families and their regular guests as it used to. So we are advising anyone with children or anyone wishing to have a quiet holiday to avoid this hotel at this moment in time.Although the staff and hotel rooms and food is up to excellent standard they seem to now to be catering for yobs.this particular week was like a war zone.

Stayed in this hotel sharing a room with two other friends in august and had a fantastic time. The hotel was nice and clean the maids came round everyday, the food was great there was lots if choice and hotel staff were friendly. The pool area was nice but could get a bit crowded but the hotel it right in the centre of all the shops and restaurants (mcdonalds is just over the road) and only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The hotel is just round the corner from the square and main strip for all your nightlife but also far enough so you don't get lots of noise. it is in an ideal location. would defintly visit this hotel again!
