Have just returned from a week at the Angela, have stayed there many times before but this was our worst stay. Our room was noisy did not have one nights sleep as there was a loud humming noise which sounded like a motor, and on the 5th day we both became violently sick and diahorrea returning home with a kidney infection as a result of continous vomiting i am awaiting lab test from the hospital as dr suspects it might have been food poising,so wont be returning to Angela. The sunbeds were covered in towels from early morning sometimes for hours with nobody on them, the hotel should put a stop to this as everybody is entitled to use the beds not just a few selfish ones. Also if you did not have an early supper you could not get a seat in the lounge.
This was our first time to Fuengirola and the Angela hotel, the location is very good ,the hotel you need to pay the extra for the upgraded room, only difference is the rooms are on the sunny side of the hotel, and in April the rooms on the other side are cold as no sun on thie side at all. the food is excellent with a wide choice, and loads of fruit. We would have liked the restauart to have opened before 1.30 as we had breakfast at 07.30 am . rooms are small but OK .Hotel has happy hour twice a day.staff very good and frendly. I would go back to this hotel and would recommend this Angela to anyone. Also no kids in hotel and very quiet at night.
