For many years we've used Thomson Gold. This time we were treated worse than cattle. The seats provided in their own 757 were so close together, that both my wife and I were unable to use the table. Now neither of us are extremely large, both aged 65+, my wife is 5ft 6ins and under 13stone, I am 5ft 10ins and under 16 stone, so we fall into the 'normal' range, but to be so cramped, and after paying the extra for Gold, the journey was uncomfortable and an extremely poor start to a holiday. However, where Thomson or its staff had no input, the resort, the hotel and the staff were of the highest. The management of this family run hotel, are both young women, and it shows. Flowers throughout, beautiful and original paintings, and cleanliness were in the truest sense of the word exemplary. But Thomson cannot even get their own quiz questions correct. In the 10 days we found 3 major error where Thomson got it 100% wrong. Their staff were new, in-experienced, untrained, and for us a waste of space. Would we use Thomson again for this resort/hotel? Not if there is another way to get to this splendid hotel and its cheerful, helpful staff. They added to the holiday, Thomson, on this occasion seemed to go out of their way to be inefficient and ineffective.

For guests wanting more space when travelling we do offer under our Holiday opitons the possibility of reserving Premium seats which are situated in a dedicated cabin at the front of the aircraft with 37' legroom, leather seats, an adjustable head and foot rest. We do recommend and indeed to make the most of your holiday experience to explore options avaiable if you have certain requirments.

The evening entertainment was superb, Fogwell Flax had us laughing and the bloke with the daftest name Arnold Gutbucket was hilarious, some chap was videoing him throughout and instead of getting annoyed ,as some people do, he included him in the show. Very professional, should be a huge star. The in house team were very good especially Christian who kept all the evenings flowing
THIS WAS OUR 5TH TIME HERE AND STILL LOVE IT APART FROM THE DONKEY DERBY AT 8.30AM-9.00AM IF YOU WANT THE SAME SUNBED EVERY MORNING ROUND THE POOL NEVER DID IT BUT TIME THE HOTEL DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT PEOPLE THAT CAN HARDLY WALK ALL OF A SUDDEN FIND THEIR LEGS AND GET THE SUNBED THEY WANT EVERY MORNING .
FOOD HERE IS FAB ENTERTAINMENT COULD BE BETTER BUT I HAVE TO GIVE A SPECIAL MENTION TO KIM THE THOMSON ENTERTAINMENT REP SHE WAS FANTASTIC FOUND THE TIME TO SPEAK TO EVERYONE
Thanks Kim for a great holiday. The staff are lovely at the Rocamarina and Kim the Gold Host does a great job entertaining the guests. Carina the rep very helpful as was the reception staff Christina and team.
Food good nice curries every day and plenty of it. Wating staff brilliant especially young Miguel and Paulina both a good laugh.
Dont believe all the comments about oldies we have the same laughs as everyome else and young people joined in with us- ask Meerkat.

Two points for Thomson and the hotel, can we have cushions on the chairs at night please and can the hotel provide tea making facilities please Thanks
We have been to five gold hotels before this one and this I have to say did not rank among the best. The Hotel had no facilities for disabled/less mobile visitors at all. However the hotel staff were vey helpful. The thomson reps were not the best I've encountered and was only too pleased to report that they were near the end of their season, we were not impressed when the coach failed to collect us to take us back to the airport, the reps once at Palma seemed to fail to comminicate with each other one telling us one thing another blatantky arguing the opposite.
The Thomson entertainment was not as good as we have previously experienced in particular one comedian and the bee gees take off band should have done just that. The Thomson entertainment staff Rob and Haley really were superb and highly professional.
The food was very good but lacked variation with no real theme nights, the Indian cuisine excellent. I was not impressed with the safe deposit boxes all being close to reception and had mirrors where you had to check your personal belongings ( I thought this was something from the past. )
Cala Egos area quite hilly, the newly built shopping/eating area/bars very pleasant. The marina area well worth a visit. Local transport reliable but does not run after approx Nine in the evening (Taxis excepted )
To summarise, although we appear to highlighted a lot of negatives, we really enjoyed our stay at the Rocamarina and are sure many other guests will be happy with their vacation.
