We took two excursions: Valencia & Benidorm Walk. The first one was first class, but a bit disappointed as the duration in the old part of the city was no long enough, as we were moved to visit a Corte Ingles, as the food was good and cheap and people could do some shopping, which we were no interested, in my humbling opinion the food was rubbish and very expensive, I think people should be left to expend free time on the old part of the city and not taken to areas the are not really interested. The second excursion was a Benidorm trip to visit the places where the famous programme was filmed, we started on the Morgan Club, but because of the time we could not see the inside as it was to early and was not open, then we were dragged through Benidorm visiting places but no able to see the area where the programme was filmed, the last straw was when we were showed a fence and told that behind than fence was the famous swimming pool but if we manage through open holes we could see part of it. If you are not able to show the real areas of the programme I think this walks is a waste of money specially when it cost over 12 Euros, not very cheap for something to do on your own feet.
Great hotel in the centre of everything. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very helpful. The buffet service food could do with been a little hotter but on the whole it is very good with lots of choice. The entertainment in the hotel is good but there is plenty of excellent entertainment within walking distance and some right outside the hotel. The beach is not far away and the walk on the sea front is a must if you are able. We went on a blanket trip excursion with Thomson but the Pal ones in the hotel outside the restaurant are also good
The riudor is ideally situated for the beach which is only about 100yards away. It is at the busiest part of Benidorm where all the night life is (overlooking the famous John Josephs and The Black Chicken). The Thomson rep. Joshua was very friendly and made the effort to visit people around the pool. See the attached picture which shows me and him with the Thomson Doll I knitted for him. The staff are very friendly the food good for such a small hotel. Don't forget the happy hour at 4pm on Tues. Thurs. Sat. (2 for 1). Most of the entertainment offered from 9.00pm is varied and good. I have stayed at the Riudor 3 times and would definitely stay again.
this is a great hotel the food is great the staff are great the entertainment was different every night plenty off sunbeds shame the pool is too deep at the shallow end the rep was one of the best I have seen and hooray no kids! the down side the reception were surly uncooperative down right rude to a lot of visitors especially the older end. there is a free wi fi which is pathetic more than 30 feet away
