Sun-baked beaches, club-lined streets and sleepy towns - it’s all on offer with our flights to Zante.
Zante may be small but it’s perfectly formed. Greece’s most southerly island packs in rolling hills, rugged cliffs and lush valleys in equal measure. But it’s the beaches most people book a flight to Zante for. The coastline takes in everything from sweeping dunes to silky slivers. What’s more, a flight to Zante opens up party playgrounds like Laganas, as well as the pin-drop peaceful shores of the north. For the island’s famous loggerhead turtles, head straight for the southern coast. Just make sure you save some time for the capital, Zante Town. With a Byzantine museum and a 17th-century Venetian castle next door, it packs quite a punch when it comes to history. Plus, the nightlife’s pretty special, too.

MAX out your memory card with shots of Smuggler’s Cove, a picture-perfect combination of rippled sands, rugged cliffs and a half-sunken shipwreck.
BAG a bargain in the maze of winding streets behind Zante Town’s harbour. You’ll find everything from chic boutiques to ramshackle markets, and leather’s super-cheap here.
FEAST on meze at one of Zante’s family-run tavernas. These traditional Greek dishes include squid, octopus and stuffed vine leaves, as well as little meatballs called ‘keftedakia’.
HIT the neon-lit Laganas strip, where cocktail bars, clubs and restaurants jostle for attention. The action starts at the beach – just follow the bright lights and you can’t miss it.
WANDER through the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, an ancient site set in thick pine forests. To find it, head for the sleepy village of Aghios Dimitrios at the island’s centre.
