Together we’ll make a difference
Come on holiday with us and together we’ll do our bit for the planet. The rules are simple – donate a pound per adult, or 50p for a child, to the World Care Fund, and we’ll match it. The money you give goes to projects that help make up for the impact holidaymakers have on the environment and support communities around the world.

The Story So Far
Thanks to £4.5 million of World Care Fund donations…
• Mayan women from the Mexican community Chumpon will make a living selling locally-made jam to tourists.
• 300 Masai children in the village of Enkereri, Kenya, are getting an education.
• People in the northwestern province of Zambia have access to renewable and affordable power, many for the first time – in homes, schools, colleges and a local hospital.
• Beach vendors in Sri Lanka are using modern business techniques and investing their profits in a community project for disadvantaged families.
• 250,000 tonnes of carbon offsets were funded in 2008 – the equivalent of taking over 70,000 family cars off the road for a year.
How does it work?
The money raised by the World Care Fund is passed on to The Travel Foundation, a charity that helps locals in our favourite holiday destinations set up their own businesses, and ClimateCare, the carbon-offsetting experts. All you need to do is say ‘yes’ to your World Care Fund donation when you book your holiday – we’ll take care of the rest.

ClimateCare, meanwhile, spearheads all sorts of carbon-offsetting projects, helping to make up for the impact our flights have on the climate. Plus the initiatives we fund together are being accredited by Gold Standard, an organisation the makes sure carbon-offsetting schemes are good for people as well as the planet.
