Hitwise* Travel Agency Category ranks Thomson as No.1

Hitwise, the leading competitive intelligence service, has ranked Thomson Holidays (www.thomson.co.uk) as number one for most hits on a travel agency website.** Thomson, part of TUI Travel UK PLC, is delighted with the announcement which comes after continuous improvements to its website.

Over the last year, Thomson has added thousands of properties to its website as well as TripAdvisor reviews, video clips and Thomson customer reviews.  Google maps, destination searches and the ‘top ten hot searches’ are all available from the home page and customers can select the package or just ‘the bits’ such as car hire, excursions or loads of other extras.
