Must-have gadget for this winter

Through its partnership with SportsDo - the first GPS sports tracking system for mobile phones, Crystal Ski offer its customers the chance to track their movements on and off the slopes in 15 European resorts* this winter.

You place a small SportsDo GPS tracker unit in a pocket in your jacket whilst you are out and about enjoying the snow.  The unit receives your location from satellites in the sky and records your whole day’s skiing.  The information can then be taken off the SportsDo GPS tracker to create your personal activity report and is immediately available on the SportsDo website for you and your friends to view. www.sportsdo.net

SportsDo is simple to use and generates graphs and charts of your performance; it even notices when you get on a lift, automatically keeping a separate track for each lift and run.

Crystal Ski customers, at the point of booking, will be given the option of buying SportsDo for their mobile or renting a SportsDo tracker in resort. The price for a day’s rental is €25 and you receive a full breakdown of your day’s skiing including a satellite map displaying the runs, lifts and stop-overs. The price for a SportsDo bundle including a Bluetooth GPS receiver and the mobile phone software is €150. If customers decide to buy a SportsDo bundle after they have rented one for a day, the rental costs will be refunded.
