Credit card charges

Take a look below at the payment cards that we accept for online bookings:

Debit cards

These cards are free to use online:

• Maestro (formerly Switch)
• Visa Electron
• Solo
• Delta

In all cases the cards must be issued in the UK.

Please note that if you are booking a flight only on Thomsonairways.co.uk, the charge for using a debit card is £2.50.

Credit cards

You can also choose to pay online with the following credit cards, but please be aware that these may attract a charge (more on this below):

• Visa
• American Express
• MasterCard

In all cases the cards must be issued in the UK.

Credit card charges

Every time you use your credit card on our website, the credit card company charges us a fee. Unfortunately this means we have to charge you a credit card fee of 2.5% to cover the costs, which is added onto your booking at the payment stage. But if you want a way round this, then why not use your debit card? There are no handling fees on holiday bookings made via Thomson.co.uk with Maestro (formerly Switch), Visa Electron, Solo or Delta.

Splitting the cost

Please be aware that we are unable to split the cost between 2 or more cards when you book online. To share the cost between several cards or cardholders, please call us on 0871 231 4691.
