English sequence dancing is based on ballroom and Latin dances, which includes the likes of the waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, and so on. Everyone taking part in the dance will perform the same routine together, so the social scene associated with sequence dancing is often what draws many participants, but it is also a skilled form of dance which can be performed to very high standards.

But if you're not a seasoned pro, and you're struggling to tell your tango from your rumba, then fear not. Lessons in sequence dancing can be found at many of our hotels, including mainland Spain, Majorca and Cyprus, and there are also many clubs and evening classes around the UK for those who want to get a head start, before jetting off to sunnier climes.
