Check out what's new for Summer 2008...
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Looking out over the dreamy waters of the Pacific Ocean, Mother Nature most definitely worked her magic on Puerto Vallarta. There are bleached-white beaches. Gorgeous jungle-like hills. And beneath the twinkling waters, you’ll find the most awe-inspiring marine life like whales and dolphins. In fact, you could almost mistake the shores here for a castaway island in the South Pacific. The unmistakable Mexican culture is the giveaway there, though. Exciting, exotic and with more than a touch of the mystic about it, a stroll though the whitewashed Old Town soon lets you know you’re on Mexican soil. A charismatic blend of cobbled streets, pastel-painted colonial buildings and shady squares, it weaves its charms on you from the word go. This was all once part of a tiny fishing village, but now Puerto Vallarta is all grown up. Wander into any of the neighbouring quarters and you’ll find a vibrant city scene with oodles of hotels, apartments and villas. And of course, you’ll find all the modern amenities to go with it.
Want to splash some cash? Take your pick of shops, there’s everything from chic boutiques to colourful markets. Feeling peckish? You can eat your way around the globe trying everything from Mexican to Mediterranean. And when it comes to evenings here, you can do it all - whether you want to sit quietly with a cocktail, get caught up in the buzz of a bar or hotfoot it to an oh-so cool club.
You’d think you’d be hard stretched to find a dream destination that does exactly what it says on the tin these days. But if you’re seeking sand, scenery and a scintillating city life, this wondrous slice of Mexico is waiting to whip your breath away.

It is made up of sugar cube buildings with red tiled roofs and huge lagoon pools with integrated whirlpool baths. When you are not stretched out by the pool or on the beach there are plenty of activities and watersports to keep you entertained from windsurfing to tennis and volleyball. To finish the day, there is no better way to round of the day than watch the Pacific coast sunset.
