Both on and off the ship, you can be as active or as lazy as you wish. After all, it's your holiday - so treat it as you like. You'll start in Sharm el Sheikh - the jewel in the Red Sea Riviera's crown - before heading out to sea. A day at sea will give you the chance to explore the ship's impressive onboard entertainment and facilities, not to mention soaking up a bit of sun by the pool or maybe enjoying a nibble from the mouth-watering buffet. Your third day will see you arrive in Port Sokhna, your springboard for Cairo. Here you'll be swept off your feet with Tutankhamun's treasures, a myriad of souks, mosques, and museums, and of course the Giza pyramids - lingering on the outskirts of the city and guarded by the mysterious Sphinx. And that's just for starters.
Your fourth day brings you to the port of Safaga, where you can take things easy in the beach resort of Hurghada or take a trip into the bustling city of Luxor. Built on the 4,000-year old site of ancient Thebes, Luxor stands on the east bank of the Nile - the lifeblood of the city. From the incredible Temple of Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and the jaw-dropping obelisks built by Ramses II, you'll be hard-pushed to fit it all in. Your final two days will then be spent in Jordan and the incredible desert landscape, Wadi Rum, not to mention the famous 'Lost City' of Petra, where ancient temples are cut into the cliff face.
