I'm experiencing problems accessing the site - what should I do?

Problems are often caused by incompatibility between the website and the browser or operating system you are using, or if the Internet is busy or your connection to the web slow, you may experience problems accessing or downloading sections of the site. If your connection is slow this is out of Thomson's control and we recommend you contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for advice if the problem persists. There are a few other reasons why you might be experiencing problems with our website. Please check the following possible issues below.

  • Have you enabled cookies? We do recommend that cookies are enabled for the Thomson site.
  • Internet history files? Sometimes, refreshing your cache and deleting your Internet history files helps websites to work better. This is done by going into Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files.
  • Latest software? If you continue to experience further issues with the site, then we would recommend moving to the latest version of 'Flash' as this may well solve the issue. Visit the Flash site to download the latest version. Alternatively, upgrading to the latest version of the relevant browser may have the same effect. However, Thomson cannot be held liable for any software you chose to download to your machine.
  • Maintenance? Finally, if our systems are unavailable or our site is undergoing maintenance then you will see our holding page. We will endeavour to keep these disruptions to a minimum.

What if my computer crashes before I complete the booking process?

If your computer crashes before you complete your booking or during your transaction, phone our Call Centre on 0203 451 2695 and we will check if a booking has been made or not. We recommend you print out any relevant information as you proceed through the booking process in order for us to access the details of your required accommodation and complete your booking for you if necessary.


 

Do I need cookies or updated java to run your website?
