Do I get extra luggage allowance if I take diving equipment?

You’ll need to pay an extra charge to carry up to 15kg of diving equipment. However, if you can show a diving certificate at check-in, you’ll get an extra 5kg luggage allowance for free.

Can I take a pushchair on my flight?

We carry pushchairs as hold baggage for free on Thomson Airways flights. You can usually take the pushchair to the boarding gate before handing it to a member of staff to put into the hold. Ask us to confirm when you get to the check-in desk.

Can I carry baby milk or baby food in my hand luggage?

Yes, you can carry liquid baby foods or baby milk that’s either pre-packaged or made up at home. You can also carry foods for special dietary requirements as long as it’s essential for the flight or holiday.

Please give any food or baby milk to staff when you go through airport security, as it’ll be screened separately.

Solid foods
There are no restrictions on taking solid foods, so you can carry things like baby milk powder to be mixed up during the holiday. These types of foods may also be tested at airport security.

How much duty-free can I bring back?

The amount of duty-free you can bring back varies depending on where you're going on holiday. Take a look at the HM Revenue & Customs website for the latest details.
