How can I find out more about holiday excursions?

You can search for and book excursions online, with our Thomson Excursions website. Visit the website and enter your preferred travel dates, along with a destination and a sub-resort and click 'Search'. Alternatively, you can leave the 'Resort' selection blank and just search for excursions at destination level. You will then see the 'Excursion Search Results' page. Select an excursion that interests you, and on the following page (entitled 'Excursion Details') you will be provided with further information about your selected excursion. This will include excursion details, price, times, duration, available days, what's included, the attributes of the excursion (e.g. 'Relax' or 'Suitable for families') and available resorts from which to depart.


 

If I book an excursion online, will I receive an e-ticket or will a ticket be posted to me?

If you have booked an excursion online, in most cases you will receive an e-ticket, which you will require as proof that you have booked your excursion. However in some cases you may also need a hardcopy ticket. In this instance, your ticket will be delivered to you in resort. If you have any queries, please contact the number provided on your confirmation email. Alternatively, please use the contact details provided below:

What happens if I have booked an excursion, but haven't received my tickets?

You won't receive a ticket to your home address - you will receive an e-ticket, and in some cases also a hardcopy ticket, which will be sent to your hotel. Please read your confirmation email carefully - this will include all the information you need to know. Please carry this with you. If you are expecting to receive hardcopy tickets when you get to your hotel and they haven't arrived, please contact the number provided on your confirmation email as soon as possible. We will then check our system, locate your tickets, and arrange to re-send your tickets so you receive them before you are due to embark on your excursion.


 

Can I still book a Thomson excursion, even if I have booked with another tour operator, or if I am staying in a non-Thomson hotel?

Yes. Please make sure that you provide the name of your tour operator, and the name of your hotel when you book.
This can be done during the online booking process, on the 'Excursion Checkout' page. You will be asked to provide the name of your tour operator and also the name of your hotel. If your tour operator or hotel name is not listed, please select 'Other' and type the name into the box provided. This is so that we know where to pick you up from on the day of your excursion. Our coaches only collect excursion guests from Thomson hotels, so it's possible that you will need to go to your nearest Thomson hotel to be picked up from there. If you are staying in a non-Thomson hotel, we will contact you to advise you of exactly where you need to be and when. For us to get this information correct, please make sure you enter your hotel name accurately.


 

When booking a Thomson excursion, do I need to provide my passport details?

In some cases, passport details are required before we can book your excursion for you. If you have booked an excursion where this is applicable, we will contact you for your passport details. If you would prefer not to provide your passport details, unfortunately we cannot process the excursion booking. In this case we will provide you with a refund for your excursion.
