If you wish to cancel your holiday, please contact us on 0844 871 0872. If you booked in a shop, please phone or visit the shop you booked through to cancel your holiday. Find your Thomson Shop. If you booked over the phone, you will not be required to put your cancellation in writing, as this can be done over the phone. If for any reason you do need to write in, please send your correspondence to: Customer Support Department, Thomson Holidays, Columbus House, Westwood Business Park, Westwood Way, Coventry CV4 8TT.
Tour operator cancellation charges will apply and are normally calculated on a sliding scale, displayed in our Booking Terms and Conditions (link below), with the charge increasing the closer you are to your departure date. A cancellation invoice for insurance purposes will automatically be sent once the cancellation has been processed. If you send any cancellation notices by e-mail, we cannot be held liable for non-receipt of email cancellations, which we have not received.
Cancellation charges are based on how many days before your booked departure we receive your cancellation notice, and reflect a percentage of the total cost of your booking, not including your insurance premium. If you arranged insurance with another provider, please refer to your insurance provider for details of your cover.
If you have arranged your travel insurance with Thomson Insurance, it may cover you if you were unaware of your condition at the time you booked your holiday. However, if you confirmed your holiday knowing there was a possibility you may need to cancel, the insurance will not cover you in the event of a claim. Cancellation charges as per the Terms and Conditions of your holiday will also apply. If you have not arranged travel insurance with Thomson, please contact your insurance provider. Please note, for 0871 numbers calls cost 10p per minute and for 0844 numbers calls cost 5p per minute. Charges apply at all times from BT landlines. Other operator networks may vary.
