The colourful Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has a wonderfully imaginative setting which recreates the atmosphere of the tropics, with sandy white beaches. There is a wide array of daytime entertainment for adults and children – from the three children's playgrounds, to hiring boats on the hotel's own lake. Food and fun activities are centred at the Old Port Royale which offers a lively shopping bazaar, games, and a range of dining options including a restaurant, bars and a self service food court. Accommodation is in six brightly-coloured 'island' villages, each named after a tropical island, and each with its own pool and sandy beach on the lake shore.
