Port Canaveral is a great choice for those with a real love of the sea. From here you can enjoy an excellent range of cruises, day sails and fishing trips. Or just watch the boats coming and going in a choice of three different marinas. Located along a scenic spot on the east coast of Florida, or the Space Coast as it's affectionately referred to, Port Canaveral has a lot to offer. Nearby there's another attraction of a totally different kind, in the form of Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is home to over 1000 different plants and more than 500 animal species. Travel by airboat, riverboat or kayak as your explore the area in search of manatees, alligators, turtles and bald eagles.
