Great Hotel, good location
Stayed here for 2 nights. It was the first hotel in the US during my week visit which had a very good bed. The design of the room was nice and it had a good spacious bathroom. The view from the room wasn't that great while I had a room at the side of the hotel. Bar and restaurant looked nice. They serve breakfast but it is absolutely not a breakfast I am used to have in Europe. Not a lot of choice, croissants, chocolate bread, coffee and orange juice. But ok to start the day. Service and personnel is absolutely professional and helpful. It is close to the beach and ocean drive. More

This joint is dope. Stayed in May 2016. Cool hotel situated perfectly on South Beach. The decor is classic Miami Art Deco with hipster touches. A perfectly sized room with a record player and vinyl. Bathroom was spacious with a next level walk in shower. The hotel has its own lounger area reserved just a 5 minute walk away on Miami Beach. The rooftop pool is excellent for chilling by with loungers, hammocks and seating. By night the fairy lights and neon red strip lighting sets the perfect Miami vibe. Get on this one. More

We stayed at the Redbury for 10 nights recently - a small intimate hotel with lots of cool features. It is situated on Collins Avenue close to lots of shops and restaurants - Lincoln Road is just two blocks away and Ocean Drive and shopping area between 6th and 9th Streets about 20 minutes walk. We had Courtyard King room which actually looks onto Collins however we didn't hear any noise from the street or the bar/restaurant below. Our room was fabulous and comfortable with a lovely Queen sized bed and loads of storage space. The bathroom included a large walk in shower and two basins. There was also an empty fridge to store drinks etc - no need to worry about moving minibar stuff around - and a coffee making machine. The room also had a spa humidifier that lets you choose a different mood in terms of aroma and music. We found all of the staff attentive and welcoming however would single Damon out as really helpful and knowledgable. Wifi was free and we didn't have any problems with speed or reliability. There is a lovely quiet pool area on the roof that we used most days when we weren't sightseeing which included very comfortable loungers and umbrellas, fresh towels and cold water. Our stay included a buffet breakfast in the adjoining Cleos restaurant. This included pastries, crossaints, orange juice and coffee and on most mornings bread and a toaster. I've seen a few reviews being negative about what is offered but generally it is good value especially when compared to the prices for breakfast elsewhere. I would say that the level of service did vary depending on who was running it that day - most mornings it was great (there was a young guy on at the weekends who was especially good) but the couple of times the lady who is also the maitre de in the restaurant was in charge the service was quite poor. Until recently the hotel was owned by the same company that owns the Raleigh across the road and Cleos but it has recently been sold. We were told on checking in that we would get a 15% discount at Cleos but when we ate there were advised when getting the bill that was no longer the case. It wasn't a big deal for us but could have been for a larger group expecting a smaller charge. There's maybe a need to make sure all of the staff at Redbury are consistent with advice. Also the hotels website still makes reference to guests being able to use facilities at the Raleigh. Overall we had a great time at the Redbury and the wee quibbles didn't affect the enjoyable stay we had.More
Very nice place
Very happy with our two night stay. A block back from the beach. Great location, but also quiet for a nigh's sleep. Check in was easy and very quick. Room is lovely a fine big room with a big bathroom. Nice decor. Breakfast well fruit such as apples and bananas on offer. Then pastry's like croissant and pan au chocolate. Tea and coffee. Wouldn't pay for it though, only it was included. Bar staff at happy hour waiting were meh 15 min wait for a drink. A lot of faffing about and could have gotten another order out of us only we had enough waiting! Reception staff were very nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. More
Deception: poor breakfast
I came here 2 years ago and I was over excited to come back but this was not what I expected. The breakfasts are simply horrible (and free for alls). The croissants are undercooked and the coffee tastes water and there is only butter for your white toasts! The resort fees are high (but this is Miami) for what you really get (gym in another hotel, umbrellas and chairs quite far from the hotel,...). The service is really good but the rooms could be better I mean cleaner and more equipped with everyday essentials. The WiFi does not work properly either.More
