Based on International Drive, this hotel-come-waterpark gives Orlando’s big-name attractions a run for their money.

As the name suggests, the CoCo Key comes with its own waterpark – a fully-fledged affair complete with slides, fountains and pools to keep the children entertained in between visits to Orlando’s theme parks. It even features an interactive water area for toddlers, with mini-chutes and a giant tipping bucket. Elsewhere, there’s a ‘quiet’ swimming pool framed by palm trees and sunloungers. You can even have a massage beside the water here.

As for the location, the hotel is in a good spot on Orlando’s lively International Drive. You’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and shuttle buses stop outside some of the major theme parks.

Another great thing about this place is the dining scene. As well as the main ‘Tradewinds’ restaurant, which serves buffet breakfasts and things like steak and seafood in the evenings, you can take your pick from the Callaloo Grill, Pizza Hut and the fast food court.

We’re talking Universal Studios Florida®, Wet 'n Wild® Orlando, SeaWorld® Orlando, Discovery Cove® and Universal's Islands of Adventure® and that’s only some of them. Give the Wonder Works and Ripley's Believe It Or Not parks a go while you’re here too. And if you exhaust this lot, the other ‘big ones’ like Walt Disney World Resort are just a few minutes away.
