outside entrances, beautiful grounds
large hotel property located on the universal end of international drive. entrance to rooms are accessed from the outside, parking in open air spaces available. rooms are standard size, but the beds are small... advertised queens, but truly doubles. there is a resort fee of $20+ that is on top of daily rate. overall a good stay.More
This hotel provided us with a really good two day break over the Christmas period and really has the facilities and more that you could ask for. We had a lovely room in I think it was block 8 and the great thing is if you hire a car in Orlando (as I think we all need to) the Wyndham possesses good parking access to all rooms so no great struggles getting luggage in and out. The staff were so friendly and ensured you have checked in and everything in your room was good to go - I really liked that touch. The hotel boasts two really excellent pools which are child friendly; given we visited in December the pools we beautiful and warm - that was a wow! This hotel is an oasis right on International drive and has all the facilities and shops around it so you can get great food in a two minute walk. I really liked this hotel - well laid out and all the facilities.More
Beware...NOT A RESORT. The only good thing about this place is the location and the lobby coffee shop. This is a MOTEL with a 1980 Spring Break feel. The bedrooms smell like mildew and you should not stay here unless you need a bed for a couple of hours. Smelly and dirty. Stay awayyyyy! More
Amazing Family experience!!
Second visit to this hotel. It has changed in design from the last time visited 10 years ago but still retains its charm and fabulous location. Perfect for all amenities and easy travel to the attractions and many eating places. Travelled with Thomson on the dreamliner and had a wonderful time.More
Poor service. Not worth paying the extra money for.
On arrival, we noticed that the carpet was not vacuumed. The air condition cranked loudly until someone finally came to fix it around midnight. On the last day, early in the morning, I asked one of the service ladies for extra coffee packets because there were only two for a room of 4. She said "but you are checking out today." I calmly told her that I still had 2 hours and she roughly handed me coffee packets without condiments. She never asked if I needed milk and sugar. I told her thank you and she turned away without saying a word. I paid $40. per night more than the advertised rate because there was a chess tournament and at least I should have received my money's worth. I book two months in advance and did not even receive the 20% discount advertised. Next time there is a chess tournament, I will book at a cheaper, cleaner and more friendly hotel resort. This was my second time here and the experience was much worse than the first time.More
