It was ok.
The room was decent. Our major issue was parking and having to pay the resort fee even though we had to park miles away from our hotel. There happen to be a convention at the hotel that weekend which made parking horrible!!!!!! They really need to take some of that resort fee and make parking for resort guests only. They have the ability to. If you go here, make sure there is not a convention going on, especially if you choose to drive. More

The front desk was great..came in after an exhausting drive . The property is nicely situated. Can walk easily to food and activities. The room was average. A bit dated.More
Beware The Coventions
Just returned from a two week stay at the Wyndham Orlando Resort and not everything went to plan. It really is pot luck whether you end up with a decent room or not. I had to immediately ask for a change to the rooms I was allocated. They were, what the hotel term exterior rooms...but they are sub standard in terms of cleanliness and feel. As I tried to email the hotel prior to leaving the UK without reply, I strongly recommend that you phone direct and request an 'internal' room. Much more welcoming and with a small terrace to sit out on. Please also check if there are any conventions taking place during your stay. There were two running on separate weekends during our 14 days and it really was chaos. The hotel seems to let anyone attending these events park within the grounds...even without a permit. So, if you've had a long day shopping or at one of the parks, be prepared to drive round and round the complex in search of an available space. Very frustrating to have to carry a whole day's shopping a great distance back to your block because the hotel have decided not to enforce parking for permit holders only!!! (The Bell Boy will park your car somewhere for you, if you report to reception though). Oh, and be prepared for increased noise levels...we had to phone security at 3.30am one morning due to unacceptable behaviour in a lot of the rooms on our floor. Let me be clear, the staff at the Wyndham couldn't have been more helpful and seemed genuinely concerned when approached on these matters. Offered solutions and were always friendly. The hotel is really in one of the best spots on i-drive. Less than 10 mins to Universal and only about 20 to Disney...and you can forget about the car on an evening and take advantage of the countless bars and restaurants, all within a stone's throw! With a little tweaking around the edges and a little more thought and organisation, then the Wyndham would surely have a lot more return custom, me thinks!More
BUG INFESTED ROOM.....Run don't Walk!!!
If a ZERO rating was allowed that would be my submission. This hotel is worse than terrible, it's disgusting with zero customer service. On 6/15 my I checked into the Wyndham Orlando International Dr. property due to stay 4 nights for a convention. Late 6/16 (early 6/17) I informed the front desk about a bug infestation in my room (building 12, room 1259). I was told to wait for manager, who never showed. Again called front desk this time spoke to manager who refused a room change stating he was sending someone to look. We are now going on 1:30am. A housekeeper shows, looks, then brushes bugs off bed to floor and proceeds to remakes bed and leaves. I again call manager. Still being refused a room change or other accommodations he again sends same housekeeper to room this time with bug spray to fumigate room at 2:30am and I'm expected to sleep here on chemical drenched mattress inhaling carcinogenic fumes when he's done. I decide to walk to front desk, manager states no room changes tonight maybe tomorrow. I already feel disgusted by bugs now I'm simply in disbelief that this so called manager doesn't even care. Without a place to sleep I walked the property til 4am until I couldn't take it anymore from exhaustion. I had no choice to leave. I checked out around 4:30am. Not only was manager unsympathetic and unapologetic he denied me a full refund or any help acquiring new hotel such as calling around for availability. The manager on duty at no time took responsibility or even cared for this gross circumstance. His lack of customer service and lack of managerial expertise is not what the Wyndham Brand should want in its management, nor should bugs be an amenity for guests. This wasn't a minor issue, or a nonsense complaint, this was a room infested with bugs in and on sheets, bed frame, walls, and furniture; it was simply disgusting. Walking the streets with a suitcase looking for a new hotel at 4:30am is not how I planned my time in Orlando not to mention the safety aspect. I reached out to hotel, General Manager and Corporate as a result. Update: Received a call from Customer Care. Was offered 30,000 points on their membership card for the inconvenience. R U KIDDING ME, do you think I would ever step foot in another Wyndham property after this. Asked for CEO's email, denied stating he doesn't talk to guests. Asked how Manager will be dealt with such as retraining, etc., told can't discuss. Was told to submit bank statement for possible refund. ARE YOU SERIOUS Wyndham Hotel Group. Like my title states....RUN DON'T WALK!More
