stayed here for two weeks with family and loved it, couldn't fault it, polite staff, good clean rooms and cleaned and changed every day, clean grounds, had breakfast and dinner here once and was good, plenty of parking spaces, would like to say though about certain negative comments about few members of staff which we never had a problem any time. If you are polite and talk, ask or comment on arrival in a friendly manner i'm sure you will find you won't be responding in reviews that staff were rude, but they were friendly and helpful.just remember they are doing this hours on end and can put up with quite a lot,so we tend to meet and treat people as we would. But we will definitely be back to this hotel .More
Fantastic location, great hotel
We stayed in this hotel from 19th may for 10 nights and have no complaints at all. We were allocated block A overlooking the pool. This was a great block as is very close to the reception block where the restaurant, zebras bar, small convenience store and gift shop are. The room was clean and spacious, had 2 x double beds, a desk & chair, an armchair, a large wardrobe and 4 x large draws, a safe, a microwave, a fridge, iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. The air conditioning unit was very good but loud, so ear plugs are a good idea. Ask for block a pool view if you like a quiet room. We didn't get any road noise at all. There is ample parking, the only time we struggled to find a space was when we arrived back late from Magic Kingdom when comic con convention was on so hotel was full to capacity, we did get a space but not close to our block. We used 2 of the 3 pools during our stay, towels are provided free of charge and inflatables are allowed in the pool, plenty of sunbeds. We used the hotel restaurant every morning for buffet breakfast 2 adults 2 children $21 inc tip was very reasonable and lots of choice from cereal to a full hot breakfast, the mickey mouse waffles were a favourite of my kids. The gift shop sells lots of Disney branded items that are cheaper than in the parks, my kids bought a Donald and a daisy duck soft toy for $13.50 and they were $19.95 in the parks. We never used Zebras bar as the hotel is right opposite the Pointe where there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. However it looked nice and the menu looked ok with things like burgers, chicken wings etc. The small convenience store was well stocked but not the cheapest option. The staff are all very friendly and quick to help if needed, we couldn't get our safe to work on the fist day and called down to reception and a lovely security guy came up and re set the safe. We also left both key cards in our room one day and again reception sent up a nice security guy to let us in, after we showed our ID of course!! I would stay here again, very reasonable cost, comfortable room, free parking and no resort fees.More
Older dated spread out cheap just okay
Was there on business in mid May - adequate hotel - especially on the cheaper end - so works but not sure would stay there again. Staff is not very amiable or friendly - they act like they have to be there - not best customer touch. Place is dated - rooms are dark and bit dingy - work space is not the largest. Wifi works well in room. Place is a bit spread out rooms can be a good walk from the lobby area. Saw a lot of families there who seemed to be on vacation packages from UK. Pools were well used by families. It is not too far a walk to some of the restaurant clusters and points of interest. It is a cheap / inexpensive hotel and therefore a value but a bit dated.More
Above average all round
The only fault i can find with this hotel is there was no kettle in the room. The location is fantastic, directly across from pointe orlando and a selection of bars and restaurants, 5 minute walk from the orlando eye, again with a selection of bars and restaurants. 15 minute drive from disney, and florida mall, 10 minute drive from the outlets. (Use uber to get around $7 to outlets $13 to disney) The hotel is clean albeit a bit dated, room had 2 double beds, a safe, desk, drawers and wardrobe, bathroom was a bit small but workable, pools and pool area is clean, staff are friendly, 24 hour shop has most essentials, hotel has free parking, there is also a bar, restaurant and coffee stand in the hotel Would definitely stay here again. 2 Weeks Holiday
I returned from Orlando yesterday after a 2 week stay with by boyfriend. We had no issues with the hotel at all - lovely polite and helpful staff, the room was cleaned everyday, no issues with checking in/out. We didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on that but they always seemed to have a decent choice on the board outside. Lite bites is convenient but quite expensive compared to the Walgreen across the road. Great location based on International Drive with a bus/iride stop outside. The hotel offers transfers of $17 pp to disney but we chose to get the lynx8/iride to seaworld then get on the lynx50 to disney springs and get the free transfer buses to whichever park. It took a bit longer but an iride pass for 2 weeks is $17 and the lynx is $4.50 for a day pass (didn't get a price on weekly pass).More
