A great location is the key to a good Florida holiday. And as settings go, this place is right on the money. It sits in the middle of Orlando’s world famous International Drive, so it’s really in the thick of it. Putting that into perspective, you’ve got hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Universal’s Wet’n’Wild® waterpark is just across the road. To make getting around easier, the hotel lays on a scheduled shuttle bus to all the theme parks. Plus there’s an I-Trolley stop just outside the entrance, so making your way from one end of I-Drive to the other is a doddle.



As far as the hotel goes, it’s got a tropical feel to it. The well-manicured gardens are dotted with lanky palm trees, fish ponds and waterfalls. In fact you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d arrived in the Caribbean. And the massive lagoon-style pool just adds to the exotic ambience. With rock gardens, plenty of sunbeds and a roomy Jacuzzi-style tub, it sets the scene for lazy afternoons away from the parks.



Inside, this place is classic Holiday Inn. In a nutshell? It’s spacious and well-equipped. The lobby and public areas take up a titanic stretch of marble-floored space. It’s got everything from a gym and beauty salon to a gift shop and laundry service. And for those days when you’d rather eat in than out, it’s got the Convenience Counter for fast food and the Front Street Café for sit-down dining.



Bedrooms in the tower are roomy and decorated in muted shades of blue and green. Resort rooms, meanwhile, are slightly smaller with tropical print bed linen and pale wood furniture. And, as you’d expect, they’re comfy and come with all the mod-cons. Think pay-per-view TV, microwaves and wireless internet access. You can even select your favourite type of pillow from an indulgent menu.
