The Highlands Reserve might be Scottish in name, but first impressions are all-American. The villas come with big garages, palm-lined gardens and even a mailbox at the end of the drive.
Inside you’ll find open-plan living areas with comfy sofas and dining tables that’ll fit all the family. The kitchens are kitted out with a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher, so you’re all set for self-catering, too.
But the real draw for this place is the 18-hole championship golf course on its doorstep. The clubhouse is only a couple of minutes’ walk from most of the villas, and the complex has a play area for little ones if you fancy a few rounds. Read more ››

Spacious, comfortable and clean
We were 5 couples and there was lots of comfortable patio furniture surrounding a large warm clean pool. Lots of light in the house and plenty of space. Ceiling fans in every bedroom. Nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay.More
My First taste of golfing in Florida
If I said I wasn't excited and apprehensive at the same time would be untrue have played winter golf back home for 5 months I was looking forward to playing some rounds of golf in the sunshine. Highland Reserve was my first experience of Florida golfing and I can truthfully say I was not disappointed as soon as I had checked in and returned to my car a member of staff turned up with my assigned buggy put my clubs onboard and chatted away made me feel welcome showed me where to go for the starter I was teamed up with another two golfers father and son who I managed to be teamed up with next day at another golf club randomly chosen before I left home. The course had its own unique challenges mainly sand and more sand I think this was a dry course. The fairways where quite forgiving and the greens the same over all a pleasant days golfing and great service They do have rangers on this course to keep things moving along. At the end when you return they clean your clubs tidy your bag and put them in the car Enjoyed the days golfMore

Spur of the moment trip!
We rented a home in the Highlands Reserve Community through lostinthemagic.com. The address was 684 Oxford Drive. We found the house to be clean and in great condition. The house was exactly as represented. We were impressed, seeing as there were 4 females, that there were plenty of towels and wash cloths! Everything was in excellent working order. The only disappointment was that only one bedroom had a tv. There were two TVs downstairs, however we would have liked one in each bedroom. The location was not far from the theme parks and we were close to grocery stores, drug stores and any other necessary shopping. The owners had created a binder that had excellent, relevant information in it. We were very pleased. More
Booked villa through executive villas florida.com - they are superb! Highlands Reserve is a quiet, well appointed community close to restaurants, Publix supermarket, gas station, etc. Easy driving distance to Walmart, lowes, more restaurants, etc. The villas all have private pools. Ours was a 4 bedroom bungalow, perfect for seniors or those with mobility issues. The whole community just has a very nice, comfortable ambiance. Our second year and, God willing, we will return next year.More
