Set back from the strip, this style-conscious hotel gives you suites as standard, on top of a sleek pool scene and deluxe spa.
The Vdara’s off-the-strip postcode offers the best of both worlds. It’s based in the more laid-back CityCenter complex, just a few blocks from the lively strip. The Bellagio is a 15-minute walk or you can catch the free tram.
This hotel comes with great eco-friendly credentials. It was awarded Platinum by TripAdvisor’s Green Leaders programme. It’s stylish, too – the lobby’s kitted out with dark-wood décor, huge murals and colourful hanging lamps.

I like the Vdara. It was my first trip to Vegas and room 35009, 35th floor was no suite but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. It's very secure and a total non smoking hotel. There is no casino in this hotel and it's not on the strip, however you can go thru the Aria or Bellagio to get to casinos and suchMore
Good hotel without all the casino hustle and bustle.
Looking for a fine place to spend a few nights without all the distractions and extra traffic that a casino creates? The Vdara is centrally located but it can be a bit tough finding it by car the first time. Don't turn into Bellagio's by mistake! The walkway to the Strip is easiest through Bellagio's instead of Aria but it's still pretty zig-zag across parking areas, through lobbies and up& down stairways. I guess the casinos are all designed like that to keep you near their own moneymaking machines and games. More
Not what I am accustomed to at the Vdara
I have stayed at the Vdara MANY times and up until this visit I have always loved it. However on this trip my room had not been dusted, there was still tissue trash in the trash can and the in suite phone did not work. Despite letting the front desk know, nothing was done. I'll certainly look at one of the other 5 star properties next month when I have to go back down.More
Exceptional sanctuary away from the strip
Room was large, clean and stylish. According to previous reviews, house keeping was slow and inattentive. This was NOT our experience. We ordered two place setting to utilize our kitchenette. These were delivered with a smile in 15 minutes. We ordered an extra blanket for our bed. The blanket was delivered in 5 minutes. Every day our room was cleaned to a sparkle. Check in/check out was painless. We sat in the outdoor patio lounge drinking water and chatting without hassle. It's just a few short steps to the strip. Fewer, shorter steps to the Aria and Cosmopolitan. BTW, check out Secret Pizza in the Cosmopolitan. Super worth checking out and the trouble to find!More
Wonderful Hotel,... Great room
Loved the Panoramic room! It really made me feel like I was in the action while I was relaxing in the room. Had a great time at this hotel and the spa was nice as well. We enjoyed getting to the room without having to walk thru miles of casino.More
