Set back from the strip, this style-conscious hotel gives you suites as standard, on top of a sleek pool scene and deluxe spa.
The Vdara’s off-the-strip postcode offers the best of both worlds. It’s based in the more laid-back CityCenter complex, just a few blocks from the lively strip. The Bellagio is a 15-minute walk or you can catch the free tram.
This hotel comes with great eco-friendly credentials. It was awarded Platinum by TripAdvisor’s Green Leaders programme. It’s stylish, too – the lobby’s kitted out with dark-wood décor, huge murals and colourful hanging lamps.

Urban Living in Vegas
I LOVED Vdara . . . it felt like the furthest thing from a hotel room you could get. Very modern and chic, with nice appointments. (Better than some NYC studios)! Nice size rooms had everything you'd need, including a wonderful shower and beautiful soaking tub! Staff was very nice, and very helpful . . . The location is a little precarious (behind Aria), so it's quite a hike to any other destination . . . I love to walk so that wasn't a problem. I will definitely stay again, as I was only able to stay one night this trip.More
Escape the busy Las Vegas strip
We had 3 nights at the Vdara and did not regret our decision. We booked a Room with a Fountain (Bellagio) view and it did not disappoint. All rooms are suites with a sitting area and a kitchen. Though you can not find a single thing in the kitchen cabinets (Fork, Plate, Cup). The hotel does not have a casino wich is so nice. If we ever come back to Las Vegas, we are staying here again.More
A week at The Vdara
Check-in was easy and quick. Room was exactly what I reserved. 1 br 1.5 baths with washer/dryer unit. Cleaned well everyday by staff willing to work on my schedule. Easy short walk to The Bellagio; very short walk to The Aria. Access to The Strip is no issue. The exercise room is punk but maybe you don't go to Vegas for that. Lobby cafe is decent. Ate a good lunch on arrival. Starbucks in lobby was one drawback. Slowest service in the entire Starbuck's universe. And you can tell they don't care. The cafe coffee is much faster and if you need a seat you can sit in the area right across. No Starbucks seating. Super easy Uber access is shared with The Aria. To the left of Vdara front door. Uber saves bucks in Vegas.More
Calm and Classic
The great thing about the Vdara is that it has no casino, no smoking and no night club. It is an excellent hotel - big rooms with king size beds, fluffy pillows and soaker tubs in addition to walk in showers - and no overstimulated excitement happening 24/7. It is a great place to sleep, eat, lay by the pool, relax and enjoy your stay. If you want action, a very short walk from the hotel via covered passageway takes you directly to the Bellagio, where you can enjoy all the stimulation you want and if you want more, the excitement of the Strip is a brief walk out the front door. Perfect location, good service, good amenities, nice views and quiet in a very noisy town.More
Vdara helps you avoid the bad things in Las Vegas, if you want
I got upgraded to an enormous corner suite to start with, so that was pretty nice. The bathroom was gargantuan, and the towels were very big and soft! But why did I like this hotel? All of the Vdara is nonsmoking, in contrast to the other big hotels -- most of which allow smoking in public spaces and many rooms. So if you've got kids or hate smoking, the Vdara can help you avoid it, until you walk through the casino areas in the other hotels... The pool was nicely kitted out, with nice lie-lows, outdoor showers and a huge hot tub. The folks working at the pool were approachable and were always polite, even in the face of some rather drunken younger people who were on the verge of behaving badly (but didn't, thanks to the careful treatment by the pool folks)! I found the concierge folks extremely helpful and useful in getting show tickets and advice about where to go. Their prices were as good as the "discount" places where you've got to walk and hang out with large crowds. Also, I must sing the praises of the in-room dining staff. My low-fat frittata breakfast was delivered spot on at 7:30 and the gentleman was polite, set the table and just charmed me. Kudos! Food at the Vdara isn't cheap but the market restaurant on the ground floor is not unreasonable and the food is much better than can be found in most Washington DC restaurants. One other note -- I think families and couples who don't gamble will really value staying at the Vdara. There's all of Vegas to sample but you can avoid 99 percent of the stuff you might want to...More
