Set back from the strip, this style-conscious hotel gives you suites as standard, on top of a sleek pool scene and deluxe spa.
The Vdara’s off-the-strip postcode offers the best of both worlds. It’s based in the more laid-back CityCenter complex, just a few blocks from the lively strip. The Bellagio is a 15-minute walk or you can catch the free tram.
This hotel comes with great eco-friendly credentials. It was awarded Platinum by TripAdvisor’s Green Leaders programme. It’s stylish, too – the lobby’s kitted out with dark-wood décor, huge murals and colourful hanging lamps.

Beautiful quiet hotel
I have to go to Vegas a ton for work and while I don't mind the city it's not somewhere I would choose to go to. So whenever I do I stay at the Vdara, it offers a nice statuary away from the the Vegas scene. The rooms are huge, allowing you several places to work and relax. And they have a fridge and kitchen area which is nice. They do not have a casino inside of the hotel (which I like) but they do have a small bar. And it's easy walking distance to the Aria and other hotels and casinos. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean too.More
We have spent a week at this hotel. The service has been excellent. The rooms are very spacious, modern and comfortable.Having a kitchenette is a bonus. Bathroom is well equipped and has both shower and bath. Location is in the middle of the strip, very convenient. More
From the moment I stepped out of my vehicle I was amazed. The staff was amazing and so nice and helpful. I had a room with a view of the fountains on the 41st floor. Wow!!!! The room itself was clean and roomy. Loved that we had a little kitchen even though we didn't use it. Even though ita off the strip it attaches to the bellagio so it's a quick walk to the strip. Can't wait to go back!! More
Modern, chic, my favorite place to stay on the strip but with a twist
This is my favorite place to stay on the strip every time I come to Vegas. I stayed here once in 2013 and again in 2016. It is on the strip but slightly tucked away where car and foot traffic is manageable, almost minimal. The main selling point for me is the fact that Vdara is a non-smoking, non-gambling facility, unlike many of the other hotels on the strip, thus making life tolerable for allergy/sensitive-smell sufferers. Since there aren't machines ringing at all hours, it is a relatively quite place. If one wanted to gamble/party/drink all night, the Cosmopolitan is literally a 5-minute walk away and Aria even less...at 2 minutes! HA. The hotel does offer a lot of amenities. The have valet parking, bell services, a cafe and bar on the first floor. I believe the second floor holds the gym, spa, and pool. The pool is essentially roof-top and secluded from the road, although easily viewed from the surrounding hotels. The hotel is very modern and chic. The lobby does not have have a huge, "grand" entrance area, but it is more intimate and appropriate for this place, in my opinion. Each room is like a mini-condo. Both times I was here, my rooms had a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, stove, eating space. It is usually accompanied by a living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The living room has a pull-out bed and 1 room can usually accommodate 4 people. I am not sure if all the rooms are the same, but this has been my experience. Each room had window walls and no matter which way the room faced, there was always a spectacular view! I was blessed with a corner room during my second stay...if I didn't have so much planned, I would have loved to stay in the room to enjoy the views! My room was always clean and the facility always worked as it should have. Pricing varies greatly. They do have random deals so I usually book when the deals are available.More
Vdara is simply the best - smoke free/casino free/Starbucks in the lobby/LGBTQ friendly/killer Wifi
It was our first time in Vegas and a friend recommended Vdara - we are forever thankful. Walking into the fragrant lobby, the hotel's scent profile is Green Fig, immediately puts your at ease. Check-in, with Jane, was fun and very easy. We got upgraded by 20 floors. Elevators are lightning fast. Room is simple but well appointed and very clean. The kitchenette is a nice touch. Room service is delish but very expensive. Fiji water in room is 19.00/bottle but 2.47 at the Walgreens across the street. (enjoy the walk) We had a Fountain View room on the 43rd floor. Very nice. I think we will try the corner suite next time. Housekeeping is excellent. The pool is small but lots of deck chairs and amazing staff. 3 lifeguards. Towel service is at the pool and easy to use. Uber/Lyft pick up is just left of Valet and no matter what class of vehicle you order there was usually one there in 5 minutes. The best thing about this hotel is that it is smoke free. No smoking in front, in the lobby, by the pool or in the rooms. It is a welcome change from the smokey hotels on the strip. There is also no casino so quieter as well. There are slots, and a full casino, across the courtyard at Aria (sister hotel). We are a gay couple and had no issues or challenges with any of the staff. We felt very safe, welcomed and accommodated at every turn. Our departing flight was delayed by 6 hours and we stayed until 3pm for only an additional $40.00 - awesome! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great accommodation.More
