Great Stay! Great Amenities!
Stayed at the Trump Hotel for two nights, Tuesday & Wednesday in April 2017. I took a Lyft from the airport to Trump at 3:20 pm. Nice, short ride. The doorman opened the door for me into the hotel. Nice touch. The lobby is opulent. High ceiling, marble everything and light fixtures that were awe inspiring. Christine checked me in with no wait. She was gracious and accommodating. I was in town to see Celine Dion...a bucket list trip for me. I was quite pleased that they upgraded me to a strip view room. Christine could not have been more nice to deal with. I left the lobby and headed to the elevators. The security at the doorway to the elevators gave me a real sense of safety. Only customers with reservations are allowed access to the elevators. I did not have to wait at all for an elevator car. They have express elevators that zip you right up to your floor. I stayed on the 48th floor, King room. All room doors are recessed into little foyers with two doors per foyer. Upon entering the room, I was pleased by the rooms amenities & cleanliness. The bathroom was huge with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall that could fit 5 people! The floors are marble and can be a bit slippery when exiting the shower...so, watch out. I found good use for the sub zero fridge in the room. The free coffee and bottles of water are a great touch. The bed was super comfortable with many pillows, which I like. I unpacked and was glad to see ample closet space for my garments that needed hanging. The room was at the perfect temp when I walked in...but when I wanted it a bit cooler, the a/c responded instantly to adjustment. I had read quite a few reviews on tripadvisor before booking this room...and a lot had mentioned the constant train noise. I did pack some ear plugs just in case...but, there was no need. Never had any issue with noise at all. I did book a 30 minute neck, back and shoulder massage at the Spa at Trump. I was asked to show up a half our early to fill out paperwork for the appt. The Spa is located on the pool level. Very quiet and serene. Christine had given me a card to present to the Spa for a free gift...it was a nice little pack of beauty creams. I was taken back to the changing area and given a tour of the amenities that I could enjoy for the duration of the day after my massage. Sauna, steam room, shower facilities, etc. The only draw back to this experience at the Spa was that they did not have a robe to fit me....I am a big girl...6'1" & 250 lbs. They tried giving me a men's robe...it was smaller than their biggest women's robe. The slippers they give you were too small as well...even the men's! I was a bit disappointed, but I made due. I will have to remember to bring my own robe and slippers next time I book a Spa apt at Trump. I was taken to the relaxation room to wait for my therapist to come and take me to my massage room. It was so quite and serene that I almost fell asleep. Vianet was my masseuse. She was super! I was so relaxed and enjoyed the massage. I left the Spa shortly after my treatment and headed to the pool side bar. The pool was jumping, so I decided to just get a drink and go back to my room to relax before the show that night. Corey mixed me the PERFECT margarita! Kudos to him! I soaked in the Jacuzzi tub for a good hour...divine! I went down to DJT in the lobby area and had the best Turkey Club sandwich. Roberto was super attentive as my server. He really was great at his job. I went back to my room via the express elevator and got ready for Celine. I did not have to wait long for the Trump shuttle to Caesar's Palace. They drop you off right at the Forum shops...which is great because the Coliseum is right there among the shops. The security lines to get into the show did not take long at all. 5 minutes, tops. I was seated and eagerly anticipating the show within minutes of arriving at Caesar's. The show was awesome. I picked up a couple of slices of pizza from one of the food court area in the casino and was picked right up by the Trump shuttle exactly where I was dropped off. Got back up to my room quickly and slept like a log. They give you a few ways to check out of the hotel. I chose to look up my folio on the tv and check out with a touch of a button. Easy! I really enjoyed my stay and the staff at Trump Hotel. Would definitely stay here again and again. Very quiet, very elegant and above all...world class service.More
Experience was excellent. Although located away from the "strip" the shuttle to the Encore and Caesar's Palace makes it easy to reach. This is actually a plus as there is no gambling machines to pass in the hallways. Accommodations are luxurious but a bit overbearing with black marble and dripping with gold for a modest European traveler. Free two battles of water a provided daily. Nice kitchenette and fridge with microwave oven are available if you want to keep leftover snacks from outside. Somewhat annoying was checking for key possession each time you approach the elevators. There is a swimming pool on the first floor, but did not use it.More
Luxury feel even for their standard room
We stayed here last weekend and were impressed by the overall size and atmosphere of the standard king room. It was clean and well maintained. Check in was a bit slow about 25 minutes and there were 3 of us in line, but nothing like what I have seen for some hotels in the area that are taking 2 hours! Staff was friendly. Pool area was ok, not luxury like the hotel. We were a little disappointed with that. Example, no dressing room at poolside bathroom, no music, no misters. But they did provide sun screen which was awesome as I had forgotten mine. Get the drinks by the pitcher it was much cheaper than each of us ordering 3 drinks. Ordered a turkey club as a snack for 2, which was tasty and the right size to share. Valet parking only...which we did not know so went on a wild goose chase to find self parking entrance. Resort fee did not cover our internet for 24 hours, it cut off the minute we checked out which sucked as we sat by the pool for several hours before our flight. Overall very nice hotel, easy walk to Wynn for gambling and food and shopping at Fashion Plaza literally across the street.More
A classy hotel we all reccomend!
We, as a family of four (with 2 children) wanted to be able to experience the Trump hotel while we traveled through the west, through Las Vegas. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our experience. This review will be divided into three categories: Review of our room, the Amenities, and the location. Our room: We bought the cheapest room available for 2 nights for $152 a night including Resort fees, but we had a splendid time in our room. The bathroom was divided into a spacious shower room, a toilet room, two sinks with clean soap, and a bathtub. They make products such as Trump Shampoo or even Trump Shower Cap for elegant washing and bathing. Outside the bathroom, our room had two neat and rich double beds, along with a comfortable bench in front of each bed. It also contained a stove, cabinets to store items, a TV that contained a TV guide while browsing, a krup coffee maker with liquid creamer offered and a microwave along with a refrigerator. These great room amenities made our room pleasant to sleep in and relax. Amenities: Outside our hotel, there were plenty of amenities offered for guests like us. If you are driving to the hotel, then you don't have to park your car. A valet will pick up your car to park it, and bring it back whenever you need it. It is a service included in your resort fee, but the process is smooth, and straight forward. We were able to check in at 11:00 a.m. when we arrived. There is a pool on the "PZ" level, which you can swim in the pool and hot tub. At the pool, you can order food or drinks, which will be included on your room bill. Furthermore, there is a gift shop at the lobby level where you can buy Trump products. At the store, there are T-shirts, hats, stuffed animals, mugs etc. available to buy. Other amenities include a Spa, a fitness center, and a restaurant "DJT" (named after the creator). Amenities like these show that there is a world outside your hotel room, in the hotel itself! Location: Trump is located 1/4 of a mile away from the Las Vegas strip. Having the hotel in a less crazy area is pleasing (especially for driving), though it can be difficult getting to specific restaurants, and locations on the Las Vegas strip. However. there is a shuttle that can take you to areas in throughout the Vegas strip. It may be far from specific areas in the strip, but driving into the hotel smoothly is more than worth it. In the all the years we have traveled internationally and domestically, there are few hotels that are truly beautiful and are unforgettable. Few hotels that are better than a clean, but unmemorable Sheraton. Trump International Hotel Las Vegas has become one of those hotels. The standard room we stayed in was elegant, the valet parking was the smoothest valet process we've ever had, the amenities were outstanding, and the location was good for driving in. We have a strong desire to stay at this hotel again next time we visit Las Vegas. We recommend this hotel for not only families like us, but everyone that can! Look for the straight, golden colored building in Las Vegas, Nevada! Room: 5/5 Amenities: 5/5 Location:4/5More
