With a giant sphinx and two-storey-tall Pharaoh statues, the Luxor brings a taste of ancient Egypt to Vegas.
This pyramid-shaped hotel sits at the southern end of the strip, half-an-hour’s walk from the centre. There’s a free tram connecting it to Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. And after dark, you can use its iconic sky beam to guide you home.
Inside, you’ll see the designers really run with the theme. Rooms have hieroglyphics-adorned décor and Egyptian artwork on the walls. Walk around and you’ll find even more touches, like indoor palms and sculptures.

Luxor is a unique resort . The shape of the pyramid on the inside is fascinating to marvel at . A must see ! Slower check in but not their fault . A ton of people walked in at the same time . I really enjoyed the entire theme of the hotel and casino . King Tut !!! Food was real good at multiple restaurants . The inclinators were too cool going up and down diagonally unlike regular elevators .More

My wife and I stayed at Luxor as an after Christmas get away. The staff were great and accommodating and we had a wonderful time staying at Luxor. The Tender steak house was really good and we would definitely recommend it for dinner. Drink service at the slots was also excellent which at other Vegas properties we have noticed over the years has gotten much slower. We stayed in the pyramid which was our first time and loved the room with the angled walls. Overall a great timeMore
We got a special rate through our Rewards from Atlantic City. The room was nice, standard hotel casino room. Ours was located in the Tower (king), with a view of the strip far end which is the airport. We are in our 50ies and found the Hotel Beautiful. Plenty of resturant and cafes. Didn't visit any night club. Hotel is a the far end of the strip. Our trip was early February and the weather was a perfect 70 ies, we got lucky. We enjoy walking so this is what we did with no problem. Crossing the streets you now go up escalator or elevators. Bus transfer are sold in front of Bus stop vending machines. Did miss a Coffee Pot and refrigerator. Ice was available.More
Luxor - Oct 2016
This place is AMAZING. I came to Vegas for my 21st birthday not really sure what to expect and this place completely blew my mind. It may not look like the biggest hotel from the outside but inside the place is huge I couldn't not believe my eyes I'd never seen anything like it. We arrived at about 11pm at night got checked in fairly quick and was given an upgrade to one of the tower suites with a tub on arrival which made the birthday girls day!! To be honest there could been more staff about to help first timers as it is so huge but we found out way eventually and once you know your way it's easy. The Luxor provides fast food for all different food lovers and countless Starbucks which made me happy!!! Also the Luxor breakfast buffet was defiantly one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had. The beds was extremely comfy however I did think the rooms was very dated and could do with a good renovation. The ice machine near our room was also broken throughout our stay which was abit annoying but nothing to complain about. All in all I loved the place and would definitely stay again. It's also right on the main stripMore
The room is clean and big, spacey for 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel is quite big and you need to walk a bit to go from one end to the other. Love the Egyptian theme but kids might find some decors creepy. Overall we loved and enjoyed our stay here.More
