New York New York lives up to its name and then some. From the outside it looks like the city’s famous skyline, and inside, the Big Apple’s neon-lit streets have been brought to life.
New York New York is designed to look like the Big Apple’s most iconic landmarks – picture the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty all rolled into one skyscraper-style hotel.
The rooms are set out in a 1920s art-deco style, and the restaurant scene downstairs is like a typical New York street. Outside, you’ll find a big pool with a rollercoaster twisting and turning above it.

Large Room and short walk
New York New York isn't the newest or the flashiest hotel on the stirp, but it has a few great things going for it. Their rooms are larger than most rooms on the strip, especially the rooms in the New York Tower. The 2 queen beds did not fill the room, there was plenty of floor space for a crib or rollaway bed. Also the floor plan is nice in that you do not walk so far to your room, like in some hotels. The breakfast at Il Fornaio was better than your average Amercian breakfast and the staff was pleasant when checking you in and out. It's part of MLife so you get points from the other hotels and restaurants on the strip that are part of the same group. And the price was a lot less than many on the strip, save the money to eat those expensive meals.More

Once upon a time a great hotel, but it needs some renovations now to keep up to date. Especially the ventilation system. The smoke in the casino is so overwhelming. Burning eyes and scratchy throat. Not a good experience More
Not what I expected
On first glance this looked like a place I would want to stay. Last year was our first visit to Vegas, when walking around we looked here and thought this would be the atmosphere we would want to expect the next time we visited. Well it wasn't. The room was nice and clean. We upgraded for a view. Well we had a window but it was behind the roller coaster. The lines for the food courts were so long that you just didn't bother. I ended up in the restroom after every meal we ate there. The American Restaurant got my cheeseburger wrong twice, raw both times. We felt due to the large amount of people coming and going we were nothing but another head. While sitting at the slot machines my husband was approached by a female who wanted to know "do you want to have a good time". The pool is small and there weren't enough chairs for everyone who wanted to soak up the sun. Most staff were rushed and not pleasant. Stacey at the car rental actually was personable and the bellhop (as we were leaving) was extremely nice. Wouldn't stay here again.More
