New York New York lives up to its name and then some. From the outside it looks like the city’s famous skyline, and inside, the Big Apple’s neon-lit streets have been brought to life.
New York New York is designed to look like the Big Apple’s most iconic landmarks – picture the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty all rolled into one skyscraper-style hotel.
The rooms are set out in a 1920s art-deco style, and the restaurant scene downstairs is like a typical New York street. Outside, you’ll find a big pool with a rollercoaster twisting and turning above it.

Only visited to gamble and ride the coaster
Top tip: leave your watch behind and enjoy the views I know it's a late review but I have to say what I think of this casino - LOVED IT!! The staff in here are so friendly and helpful. We decided to do a free lesson in craps and ended up staying for hours playing and loved it!! The teacher was so helpful and friendly and made it feel fun and not a boring lesson!! Loved the view as we walked between the restaurants and shops and had the New York feel to it. The rollercoaster is amazing and it feels weird but also amazing to ride by the skyscrapers of NYC!! One of my favourite places to visit in LV and cant recommend it enough to anyone.More
Excellent in every way
This hotel was fantastic. We arrived late and were quickly and smoothly checked in, by the very friendly receptionist Danny. He ensured that all of our questions were asked us, offered us advice on the area and gave clear directions to our room. Room was very clean, of a great size and extremely comfortable. Some spare pillows would have been good however. A/C very effective and quiet. Nice styled bathroom with bath etc. Plenty of towels. Hotel has lots of restaurants, all very good food and reasonably priced comparatively to others in the area. Good service was seen by us. Great casino, loads of different games and a huge amount of slot machines etc. Check out was smooth, however they tried to charge us for 2 nights of parking instead of 1, I had to contest this which was slightly embarrassing. All in all, very good value for money for an excellent hotel. Thanks, Would certainly return if in Vegas again!More

Great Restaurants and Atmosphere/Room in desperate need of update!
Stayed last weekend, 3 nights, Thurs-Sun as getaway with my wife. Casino floor was good, nothing remarkable from the other casinos in the area. Restaurants and cobblestone "streets" are a nice touch. The restaurants were great, we actually came back to stay at NYNY after experiencing the restaurants here a few years ago, and we will continue to come back for the food and awesome NY atmosphere. Front desk staff at 1AM when we arrived was super helpful and informative. Wasn't thrilled about paying the $35 resort fee for "Thurs" when we checked in at like 1:00AM on Friday, but I get it. We used the concierge desk on Sat to help us get MJ1 Cirque tickets, they were also very helpful. We are recent M Life members, so we got a little break on the ticket costs, which was nice. Housekeeping was just fine, we asked a housekeeper for extra towels and such on the way out one day, when we came back they had doubled our towel count. No issues with cleanliness of anything. Security and general floor staff were very nice, had to ask a few times where things were, and everyone was very helpful and cordial. On Sat night we went to the M Life booth to get our receipts added to our account, and the lady at the desk seemed like we were bothering her, she was very dismissive- that as the only negative experience we had with any person at NYNY. The room though... Seriously outdated. Now, to be clear, we didn't splurge for a expensive room, this was a "run of the house" room, so whatever they had left is what we got. We got a king room on the 5th floor in the New Yorker building and I think we paid around $150 per night. I'm not sure if the other towers have been updated, but this was like taking a step back for NYNY as far as I was concerned. The bed was fine. The decor was brown and tans just plain ugly, the bathroom was nothing special, it did have tiled flooring though. There was rusted screws above the shower head, the sink faucets turned the opposite way then normal. There is a serious lack of electrical outlets/USB ports, I had to unplug a few lamps so we could plug in phone chargers, etc. The TV was fine, a Samsung flat screen. The carpet was old and the glue or whatever keeps it attached to the subfloor was coming up, so the carpet wasn't really "nailed" down in a few places. About half the TV remote buttons worked, not including the sleep button, which is a must! No fridge in the room either. So we no way to keep our room waters cool. Blackout curtains are the real deal though, kept the room nearly dark as night all morning! The AC is not digital, it is an old school lever, hard to regulate hot/cold. The room just looked tacky and in need of an full upgrade. I stayed at the Potawatomi Hotel/Casino in Milwaukee in June in their regular (non upgrade/suite) room and their room blew the room at NYNY out of the water, not even in the same league. I would put the NYNY room in a league with Holiday Inn or Days inn. So overall, the experience was pretty good. Probably won't stay at the hotel again, but will surely be back for the atmostphere and food!More
Good time had!!
We checked into the hotel in the wee hours of a Monday morning. The lights were bright and the staff welcoming. The restaurants and the attractions within the hotel area were varied and fun. Easy access to a number of other hotels/properties, which was appreciated in this August heat.More
