New York New York lives up to its name and then some. From the outside it looks like the city’s famous skyline, and inside, the Big Apple’s neon-lit streets have been brought to life.
New York New York is designed to look like the Big Apple’s most iconic landmarks – picture the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty all rolled into one skyscraper-style hotel.
The rooms are set out in a 1920s art-deco style, and the restaurant scene downstairs is like a typical New York street. Outside, you’ll find a big pool with a rollercoaster twisting and turning above it.

Fun & exciting
We did the roller coaster! It was so much fun that we went on it 3 times in a row! We were here December 2012! The calendar doesn't let you go back that far. But we had a great time! It was our first trip to Las Vegas. I will never for get it. The roller coaster was fast and smooth.More
Good hotel for a quick stay in Vegas
We were only in Vegas for one night while traveling from California to the Grand Canyon. We chose to stay at New York Hotel because of the lower prices at this hotel than others. We were very pleased with the lower price rooms while still getting EVERYTHING you would want in a hotel stay in Las Vegas.More
Awful Customer Service That Offered No Help
We are planning an RV trip across the country and were planning on two nights at the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas. We saw previous reviews about how New York, New York was a great place to stay if you are travelling by RV, but that is obviously no longer the case. We called to inquire about where to park and what fees may be associated. We were told that they don't have RV parking and that we should call their Wild Wild West location. A place that trains their staff appropriately would have instructed them to place us on hold and then called to the Wild Wild West facility to find this out and relay the information to us or done something other than essentially say call someone else. Well, this is not that kind of place. We called on our own and were told that in order to park at the Wild Wild West that we have to stay there. So, New York New York doesn't want our business simply because we have and RV to park. I find it difficult to believe that there is no other remedy to stay at a place owned by MGM Resorts International on the strip other than the Wild Wild West nor can I believe that somewhere on the Vegas strip people are turning away repeat business. I can't imagine why I would bother to look at another MGM Resort If you have an RV in Vegas stay away from MGM ResortsMore
Great hotel for price and location
This hotel was great all around. Price wise, it was on the lower end at time of booking so i wasn't looking to be blown away. But even in the Park Avenue rooms, the lower end, the furnishings were great. Linens are cozy, rooms are nice... No coffee, microwaves or fridge in the rooms though so no real options for storing beverages etc. The casino is nice and has a real low key vibe in comparison with some others we went to that had a club-ish feel. It's great having the roller coaster in the hotel too! Pool area is great, sun for the whole day on most of the pool area. So many selections for restaurants. The Italian restaurant that has the 2 for 1 breakfast was delicious and the Mexican restaurant was amazing service and really delicious selections. Location is great too. Surrounded by MGM and within walking distance to Caesars, Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, Excalibur etc. More

Fabulous holiday - 8 nights at New York New York
Stayed here last June for 8 nights and loved it. Was my second trip to Vegas having stayed at the Flamingo first time round, so we fancied staying in a different area of the strip. There's so many restaurants, bars etc in NYNY that you could probably easily spend a whole week there and not leave your hotel - not that there would be much point in that. But it was that good. The Park had just recently opened when we visited and a firm favourite of ours was Beerhaus - right next to the entrance to the hotel. Another favourite was Toms Urban, loved the food there. A great location hotel with so much to do. The only down side was the pool was quite shaded for a lot of the day in certain parts. Would definitely stay there again though - didnt have great views of the strip from our hotel room despite paying for a strip view upgrade. Maybe we were just comparing this to our view the year before from the Flamingo (looking right out on to Caesars Palace). Brilliant hotel, brilliant price, brilliant holiday.... would definitely stay here again.More
