MGM Grand ticks every box – its top-rated Hakkasan nightclub, Wet Republic pool parties, and 15 restaurants are only the tip of the iceberg.
It’s all going on at MGM Grand, which holds the title for being the biggest hotel on the strip. Legendary pool parties hosted by world-famous DJs, a choice of 15 different restaurants and a swish spa are counted among its long list of highlights.
Although there’s not much reason to leave the hotel, when it comes to exploring further afield, you won’t have far to go. The hotel is centrally-located on the strip and is one of the stops on the monorail, too.

Ka by Cirque du Soleil
Las Vegas is known as much for its immense shows and concerts as it is for its casinos. MGM Grand offers you one of the biggest shows going. Be thrilled by stunning visuals and breathtaking acrobatics at Ka by Cirque du Soleil in the purpose-built Ka Theatre.
Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Enjoy the best of Creole cuisine down at Emeril's. As the name suggest fresh fish and shellfish dishes are the order of the day, but true to Creole style the menu also packs in steak and chicken dishes.
The pool area here really lives up to the Grand name. 6.5 acres is made up of four pools, a trio of whirlpools, waterfall cascades and even a lazy river.

I've been treated better at a Holiday Inn
Made reservations for 3 rooms 6 months ago. Requested they be near each other and paid the early check-in fee of $30. The morning of arrival, I did the mobile pre-check in stating I would arrive at noon. We arrived at 11:45 but was told I couldn't check in until I received "the email". Naturally, we went to the bar to wait for the "the email". After an hour and no email, I went to the front desk and inquired. The rooms were still not available and would not be until 3pm. A rush was put on the cleaning of our rooms and were given room credit for the early check-in fee. However, we were only in Vegas 2 days and wanted to check in early to enjoy the amenities. We were told we would receive a text when the rooms were ready. Long story short, one room was ready at 3, one at 4 and the last one at 5:30. I'm still waiting for that text! MGM provided no goodwill on their part for making us waiting almost an entire day for our rooms. Very disappointing! We won't be back.More
DO NOT STAY HERE
It took 5 hours and 3 trips to the front desk to get into our room. First, our room was supposed to be done early (we paid for this).. it wasn't so they refunded us and gave us a $20 credit. Then 3 comes around and we haven't heard that our rooms are ready but we have the keys so go check them out. One was dirty with beds unmade - we go back to the front desk and they tell us it will be cleaned within an hour. Go to the pool for an hour and a half come back and the cards won't open the doors .. back to the front desk and they tell us we never had that room we had a different room, I pointed out that we clearly did have the room since we could get into it at which time she admitted they must have changed the room and not told us - so overall took 5 hours and 45 minutes from the time we got to the hotel to get into our room and the hotel is average at best. Stay somewhere else. Anywhere else has to be better than this More
Busy weekend limited staff and over booked
After a log day of travel and a long day of work ahead an 1.5hr wait to check in to be told I have to check into a temporary room and then check out to get placed in my correct room the next day. Highly addictive inconvenient especially for business traveler in town for work. I frequent this resort plenty of times, but at the end of the day it is lodging for travelers. Get it right. Staff adequately. Come on it's the end of EDC weekend close it out strong. This is pathetic. More

DO NOT STAY HERE***
I have stayed here every time I came to vegas, always buying high end rooms and a perfect customer, this trip I have had 2500$ worth of stuff robbed from my room by cleaners WHILE the do not disturb sign was on my door. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I attached a picture of my booking to prove I was hereMore
Huge resort and quite pricey
We stayed at the MGM Grand resort for a conference that my husband was attending. The resort is huge, 5100 rooms, that is 10,000 people staying at the resort. With that being said, it never felt crowded, because it is huge! The 6.5 acre pool area was nice, but found it hard to relax, as there was loud music playing at all of the pools. It seems that they could have at least one pool to relax and read, but that was not the case. The drink prices were costly, $15.00 to $25 for a mixed drink at the pool. Bottled water in the resort from $4-5 a bottle (save your self some cash and walk down to the ABC store or Walgreens and get a case for that price) If you want a cup of coffee and Starbucks is closed you are out of luck. Seems the resort sold out to Starbucks and are not permitted to serve coffee because they let Starbucks in there. So if you need coffee be prepared to stand in long lines and pay a high price for a cup of joe. All in all, I would probably not stay at this resort again. I would opt for a smaller resort. The walk to go anywhere was a very long walk.. (according to my fit bit over 1000 steps to get to the pool from my room) needless to say, I hit my fit bit steps by early morning. I must say that the housekeeping staff was EXCELLENT and very accommodating! High praise to them, as they have seen it all, but still maintain high professionalism! By the way, the pillows were horrible, beds were pretty comfy though. It took a long time for the hot water to get to our room... turn your shower on 5-10 mins before you intend to showerMore
