MGM Grand ticks every box – its top-rated Hakkasan nightclub, Wet Republic pool parties, and 15 restaurants are only the tip of the iceberg.
It’s all going on at MGM Grand, which holds the title for being the biggest hotel on the strip. Legendary pool parties hosted by world-famous DJs, a choice of 15 different restaurants and a swish spa are counted among its long list of highlights.
Although there’s not much reason to leave the hotel, when it comes to exploring further afield, you won’t have far to go. The hotel is centrally-located on the strip and is one of the stops on the monorail, too.

Ka by Cirque du Soleil
Las Vegas is known as much for its immense shows and concerts as it is for its casinos. MGM Grand offers you one of the biggest shows going. Be thrilled by stunning visuals and breathtaking acrobatics at Ka by Cirque du Soleil in the purpose-built Ka Theatre.
Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Enjoy the best of Creole cuisine down at Emeril's. As the name suggest fresh fish and shellfish dishes are the order of the day, but true to Creole style the menu also packs in steak and chicken dishes.
The pool area here really lives up to the Grand name. 6.5 acres is made up of four pools, a trio of whirlpools, waterfall cascades and even a lazy river.

Bachelor/ bachelorette weekend
Our stay at the MGM was great overall. We got upgraded to a strip view room when we checked in which was nice. We flew in with our bridal party and spent some nights all together and 1 night guys and girls separated for bachelor and bachelorette activities. Girls can get around Vegas easily with little money, there are promoters approaching you everywhere asking to put you on the guest list for their clubs and pool parties. If you want to get on the guest list at hakissan ( mgms club) and wet republic (mgms pool party) they approach you in the hotel which is convenient. If you're a group of girls you'll get in free on guest list and won't have to wait in line, if you're with guys then get ready to wait in line. Hakissan was packed and I can't say that I had an amazing time because I literally couldn't move my shoulders. Drinks are also $17 each which is pretty common on the strip. Wet republic was cool but we made the mistake of going on our last day when we were exhausted and partied out. Mgm the hotel is really nice and really big. Get ready to walk. I would highly recommend seeing the Cirque du Soleil show in the mgm. The only thing I found weird about this hotel is that there are no fans in the bathroom. Otherwise, the location right on the strip is great and I have no complaints about the facilities.More
I have stayed here a couple times and enjoyed the stay both times. It is located in a great spot and offered a monorail station downstairs for easy travel. Massive location and grounds, shopping and dining experiences included. Starbucks in a few different spots throughout the hotel and a MASSIVE casino. Offers a great variety of slot machines. Rooms are fabulous, huge and very clean. Had an amazing view and free upgrade at last stay. More

Big and Average
Check in was fast and I was so happy to have been given my room well before 3pm. We travelled by plane from NYC and it was nice to have the room ready. I agree, the hotel is enormous and things are not conveniently located. We had a grand canyon tour and we were constantly given wrong information by staff about where to meet the bus. Luckily we took things into our own hands and decided to call the tour guide ourselves because none of the information given to us was correct. If we listened to the staff we would have been waiting in the wrong place for pick up and would have missed our tour! Also, we had an annoying running toilet. The room had a view of the loading dock. I stayed in the west wing. People were loud and obnoxious at night. Biggest plus is the pool area! It seems like their money goes to maintaining the pools. I'd stay here again for the pools. More
Wonderful Vegas Visit
Just returned from a 5 day stay at the MGM Grand, where we had a wonderful time. Room was on the 13th floor; our room was in the Grand Tower and looked out toward the Tropicana and Excalibur. I was impressed with the cleanliness - housekeeping came by twice a day, which was great - it was nice to come back from morning coffee to a clean room, and like-wise from dinner as well. The staff were all very friendly and service was prompt - one call to housekeeping for extra toiletries and they were at the door within minutes. One thing lacking was fridge space for personal items. While there is a bar fridge in the room, it is stocked by MGM, with sensors beneath each item - if you move the items, you get charged for them, so you don't have the option of emptying it out and putting your own beverages, etc, in there. There is an ice bucket and ice machine on the floor however. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room either, but Starbucks is close by. The casino itself is large and busy at night, and there is something for everyone - lots of fun to be had! MGM also has a beautiful pool area, which was a great way to relax. The weather was gorgeous; hard to beat a leisurely float down the lazy river, surrounded by palm trees, in the warm sun! All in all, I had a great visit and would stay here again.More
The is a great hotel and a great location. It is in the heart of the fun!!!! Rooms were clean. Quest services was quick and helpful with anything that we needed. Very friendly atmosphere!!! Very smoky downstairs in the casino, but that was expected. There is SO MUCH TO DO at the hotel. You could stay here and get some much done, but if you are looking to venture off, it's close to just about everything. More
