MGM Grand ticks every box – its top-rated Hakkasan nightclub, Wet Republic pool parties, and 15 restaurants are only the tip of the iceberg.
It’s all going on at MGM Grand, which holds the title for being the biggest hotel on the strip. Legendary pool parties hosted by world-famous DJs, a choice of 15 different restaurants and a swish spa are counted among its long list of highlights.
Although there’s not much reason to leave the hotel, when it comes to exploring further afield, you won’t have far to go. The hotel is centrally-located on the strip and is one of the stops on the monorail, too.

Ka by Cirque du Soleil
Las Vegas is known as much for its immense shows and concerts as it is for its casinos. MGM Grand offers you one of the biggest shows going. Be thrilled by stunning visuals and breathtaking acrobatics at Ka by Cirque du Soleil in the purpose-built Ka Theatre.
Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Enjoy the best of Creole cuisine down at Emeril's. As the name suggest fresh fish and shellfish dishes are the order of the day, but true to Creole style the menu also packs in steak and chicken dishes.
The pool area here really lives up to the Grand name. 6.5 acres is made up of four pools, a trio of whirlpools, waterfall cascades and even a lazy river.

Stayed with friends for a week. Lovely hotel/zoo!
Loved the hotel upon arrival after our Limo from the airport which was a ball!! Great start to the holiday would recommend if its your first time in vegas to kick it all off!! Check in was a while (20 mins) but i expected this as my mum had previously stayed the year before and advised me. There was five of us so we took this oppurtunity to take a look around the hotel ( and play a game) seeing who could get the furthest into the casino and back in pairs in 5 mins as the others waited in the queue and vice versa. When we got to the front desk check in was easy and they took a deposit, I asked if i could have a closer room to my friends as i booked last. Which they did put me on the same floor about 2 mins walk, my other room would of been on the other side of the hotel which is about a 10 MINUTE walk. When i arrived at my room (having only booked a King size room) I was so happy as i had 2 queen beds to myself! ( i could choose which one to stay in each night haha) Room was gorgeous with amazing views of vegas, clean and very roomy for one person as it originally slept four people. Bathroom with a massive sink to myself and all the storage i needed for all my clothes (alot). We loved the pool area. Lots of beds and pools to choose from and a jacuzzi and LAZY RIVER!! Amazing! Love love love. I would come back again. (We nicknamed the hotel the zoo because when visiting other hotels it was noticable that this hotel was very very busy compared to other hotels! )More
Really Friendly Staff - Average Rooms
We arrived early due to a flight change and paid extra to upgrade rooms so we could check in early. The room reminded me of one from a Hampton Inn. The tile in the bathroom was really dated, the shower didn't put out hot water, and the strip view we paid extra for was of a side view of our hotel and part of the Tropicana. We were switched to another room higher up in the same tower - same view. What I wasn't aware of is that you are charged an upgrade tax on top of your upgrade. I knew we'd be charged a resort fee, but you're also charged a resort fee tax. Parking used to be free but not they charge. Max is $10 per night. All of the MGM properties are doing this now. I'll be looking for another hotel if we return to Vegas.More
Great Property To Stay At
I have stayed at many properties in Vegas. I really like the MGM. The pool is great and the hotel has some great restaurants and bars. The staff across the property are nice and friendly. I had a room that was not it a great location, it was addressed immediately by the front desk and was upgraded to a nice suite. Thank you Tony from Chicago who assisted me!More
Package Deal with Alaska AIrlines
Outstanding value booking as an airfare and hotel package thru Alaska Airlines. First time staying at MGM but have stayed at many other resorts. We arrived early in the morning from Seattle and went thru check in at 9:30am, our room wasn't ready but we were provided keys and advised that MGM would call us with room number information when it was available. At 11:20am we received a call and our room was ready and we could go directly to our room. Outstanding ! When we checked in the guest services rep was extremely nice and explained every little detail we had questions about. Our room was on the 21st floor which is perfect since the elevators are split between 1-20 and 21-29, we were always the first off or last on. We had a lovely view of the south strip. Room was spacious compared to other hotel rooms we have stayed at, for ex, NY NY, Excalibur, Flamingo. Tub shower was a little antiquated but bathroom has plenty of room. Room had a drawer safe that fit our laptops easily and decent sized TV with good programming. Housekeeping cleaned our room every day even when we didn't take the do not disturb sign off the door until mid afternoon. Casino cigarette smoke was managed very effectively and barely noticeable. Lazy river pool was very relaxing and entire pool area was keep very clean, bar and food service at pool was outstanding. Only disappointment was that we asked for late check out and were given until 1pm but couldn't get any later. Understandable considering the turn over rate while we were there.More
Time for the two of us
my husband and I headed to Vegas for some time together without the kids, we have been there a few times before and really enjoy our time there. This time we went because there was speedway and Nascar on during the time we would be there. the hotel is huge, we stayed in a king room, it had everything we needed, the only thing we really missed was a fridge, as its handy to be able to keep your drinks cool, as the mini bar is so very expensive. the casino floor is very smokey, but there are plenty of areas to get away from it, there a heaps of restaurants in the MGM as well as shopping, cafes, Starbucks, and on site car parking, although you do have to pay $10 per night. Its a pain having to pay the resort fee when we don't use the pools, gym etc but seems to be the way in Las Vegas. The Cirque Show 'KA' was amazing much better than the top one 'O' which is playing in The Bellagio.More
