This huge hotel combines revamped rooms and swish bars with family-friendly touches, like a giant aquarium and lazy river.
Big is the watchword at Mandalay Bay. It lines up an 11-acre pool complex, a 1.6-million-gallon aquarium and a 30,000-square-foot spa. If you ever want to leave, you’re a short tram ride away from the attractions along the strip.
Rooms are modern and chic, with statement walls, flat-screen TVs and cream décor. The spacious bathrooms are another bonus – they come with walk-in marble showers and big tubs.

Great views, pool and beautiful bathrooms
I visited with a young child and had a great time at the pool and in the location in general. The beds were comfortable and very clean, the bathroom area so nice. The marble and clean modern set up was great. We rode the tram a few times, it helped a lot! Only complaint was the service at the sea side cafe (is that the name?). It was such a turn off, maybe one bad day for the employee? I flew with a child all the way to vegas and paid for hotel room and food. I think it was reasonable to expect that the staff did not act like I was asking them for a favor. The Fleur restaurant was amazing, and our server too. He made a couple of excellent suggestions and my picky eater loved the food there as much as I did. The pools were do much fun for all of us. Having rented a cabana helped. More
Great stay at Mandalay Bay
My husband and I stayed at Mandalay Bay June 14-17. We had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Check-in/checkout was smooth and easy, even though there several events taking place that week. The King Resort room was great and the amenities are amazing. Casino was fun. Top notch service wherever we went and the grounds/ pool were beautiful. The free tram from hotel to Luxor/Excalibur allowed us to explore the strip while saving on transportation costs. Great vacation at a wonderful resort. I highly recommend! More
Once again Excellent
I stayed here probably about 5 times and have recomended this property to many. Mandalay Bay has the nicest rooms, pool (including waive pool& lazy river ) a huge world class spa( the best on the strip) and other great and facilities on the Las Vegas strip. The resort always smells fresh and clean. I was so happy that I was able to find a chair at the Pool/ Beach never a problem in the 3 days I was there. I had a horrible experience at the Luxor last year ( too many VIP areas) The only drawback is yes the MB is way at the end of the strip. However, the hotel does have a FREE monarail to the Luxor and Excalibur.. this makes it easy walking to Ny ny, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo. (But, I could be happy just not leaving Mandalay Bay !!) Since my last visit I did notice they did add a Food court. It's over by the MB convention center. ( I don't think many people are aware of this) Once again this hotel has provided me the best service and I will for sure stay here again. One last word of advise to Las Vegas resorts -- PLEASE get rid of these " resort fees" just put it in in with the nightly rate. This only questions guests and upsets them. You get the cost of the room in the long run why make your product feel like you are nickel and diming? Just a suggestion!! But, again Thank you MGM Mirage resorts especially the staff at the Mandalay Bay --Excellent job !!More
Second tine around even better then the first!
Work at the JCK show and decided to stay some extra days, service is excellent and if your not happy they make sure you will be happy! The rooms are huge, the bathroom is also very big with separate showers and separate room for the toilet, the towels are plush and soft and their shampoos and creams they offer in the room are very good quality! Beware of the costs of the food and drinks in the bar it is ridiculously expensive! Also don't put any of your water in their mini fridge they will charge you as they have weights that weigh the two levels in the fridge believe it or not!More

Worst experience in many visits to Vegas
Started off on a bad footing. Trying to check in at midnight room was not ready. Had to wait while we were really tired. Unbelievable poor management. Got comped one night but things got worse. Besides being not all that busy and you will pay for everything like $50 for an umbrella at the pool or beach. 5$ to charge your phone. Checked with other hotels like Planet Hollywood and this is not true. We had a problem with the room and had to move. They didn't have another room till late afternoon although we were told much sooner. We had to call to find out it was ready. With all the issues we had we were told on checkout we would get a couple nights at any MGM but they never followed through with it to this day. I will never stay at another MGM property as a result. Their name is the only reason they continued to exist.More
