The gilded Delano Las Vegas oozes glitz and glamour, and comes with access to a waterpark-style pool area and a panoramic rooftop bar.
The Delano Las Vegas looks like a giant gold bar from the outside, and is known for its super-sized, super-stylish rooms within. They’re looking swish after a recent refurb, and come with top-drawer views of the famous strip.
This place shares facilities with the neighbouring Mandalay Bay, so you get free rein to use its massive pool area, popular 17-screen sports bar, and nightclub.

First time visitor to the property and have to say I won't be back. Booked through American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts. Did not appear to receive upgrade, though was offered one at check in if I paid, nearly double my rate. Suite was average. Second bathroom had a sewer smell. Had $100 resort credit I wanted to use on a bottle of wine. Wine was $80 + 15% tip + 25% delivery charge to put in my room when I wasn't present. No thanks. Upon check-in, front desk manager (same one that offered me the paid upgrade) confirmed resort credit. Following day spoke with another front office manager, Kristen, to confirm resort credit had been applied and she could not have been ruder. Response was "not going to happen." Not what I was expecting when I am the customer. Ended up phoning American Express Platinum Travel and appears I was given misinformation by Am/Ex agent(s) regarding my reservation. AmEx has opened an investigation on my behalf regarding the resort credit I did not receive from the hotel. In today's age, what hotel does NOT have feather pillows available? Requested twice and was told both times, they are not offered in the hotel. Too many other great hotels on the Strip (Encore, Wynn, Palazzo, Venetian) to waste my time with another visit to the Delano. My suggestion...stay elswhereMore
Skip Mandalay Bay and STAY HERE!
Okay, this is my new favorite hotel on the Las Vegas strip! This hotel is part of the MGM/M-Life chain of properties, and is directly adjoined to the Mandalay Bay casino. Honestly, it is just as far from this hotel to the casino and the shows as it is from the Mandalay Bay rooms... Its just on a different end of the casino. I actually think this is a bit closer to the fine dining areas and the convention center. If you're there fora convention, ask about the short cut through the garage - it'll save you a lot of time. The rooms are awesome! Every room is a suite, and features two separate rooms - a family room with desk and a bedroom. Some suites are larger with more features, of course. The bathrooms are very spacious, with a separate toilet area (there was actually a half bath in the family room area, too). The corner rooms are at the end of the hall, and while usually priced about the same, offer better views... So splurge a few extra bucks and get the room at the end. The front desk staff were very friendly and inviting. The lobby was impressive, albeit small, and is easy to navigate. I appreciated that I could get to my room without walking through a casino, yet the casino itself was only a <3 minute walk away. The lobby does include a lobby bar that features some food, and a lunch spot featuring southern-ish cuisine. There was also a rooftop restaurant which I heard was good, but didn't have the chance to try. Long story short... I'll be back to this hotel. Between great rooms and a good location, it can't be beat!More
Business leisure vacation
The Delano was perfect, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The food at most of the restaurants was outstanding. I did not get a chance to use the pool as the weather was cool. Stripsteak was awesome. Drink prices were very high if you were not gambling.More

Great Hotel for Conference and Quiet
High quality hotel great for conferences. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. Staff are good and responsive. Some issues with the front desk in terms of wake-up calls (got them wrong) and messages. Otherwise a nice, clean hotel, that is comfortable and quiet.More
