A huge indoor theme park, circus acts and a handful of restaurants – this place is a great family-friendly pick in Vegas.
Built almost 50 years ago, Circus Circus was one of the first hotels in the area. And it’s become something of a Vegas institution. Circus acts, rock climbing and rollercoaster rides are all on the cards.
Families are big fans of this hotel, thanks to the amusement park, live performances and casual restaurants. Plus, it’s at the quieter, northern end of the strip, so you’re a 10-minute cab ride from the very centre of the action.

Lively Las Vegas!
We stayed 3 nights in this very lively hotel. It is huge but despite this seemed easy to use and get around and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was in a separate block away from the hustle and bustle and we were not disturbed by noise at all. We used the deli for food one evening and the food was very reasonably priced , tasty and plentiful. Transport to explore Las Vegas was very easy as the bus went along the road immediately outside the hotel, 8 dollars each for 24 hours! We particularly enjoyed The Mob Museum in downtown. More
Another candidate for demolition
This hotel is very tired and worn out. The smell of smoke is everywhere, including my no smoking room. I could not come up with one re-demeaning quality to this hotel other than price. I saw wall paper falling off of the walls, the elevator stuck on me once and I had to send my steak back from the steak house because it was way under cooked. More
I had booked this hotel for my son and myself. After booking and then reading trip advisor reports, I definitely had second thoughts. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel! We stayed in the Skyrise tower on the 14th floor. I thought the room looked recently renovated and was very quiet. The only negative thing I would say, it is quite the walk from the room to the front of the building on LV Boulevard. It took about 10 min. This hotel had lots of choices for food, souvenir stores, Tix 4 2nite booth, Adventuredome amusement park (no line ups when we went), car rental booth, pool area, etc. There was so much there to keep you entertained. I feel this hotel is being given a bad rap. The room we stayed in was clean, recently updated and very comfortable. By my standards, it was nicer than most hotels I have stayed in overnight. I have stayed at the Mirage before while in Vegas, It was really nice but I felt more comfortable at Circus Circus. Yes, this hotel is further down the strip but as my son said, " it is closer to Fremont street ". We took the RTC bus everywhere we wanted to go. There is a stop right outside the hotel on both sides of LVB. That is really convenient! Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel even based on most of the reviews given. It is true, more people leave bad reviews than good reviews... I wanted to change that!More
I stayed here with the wife in January whilst on a whirlwind tour of the states, it's a clean and friendly hotel well located at the end of the strip which means you don't get charged a fortune to stay here, the bars are good and if you take one recommendation from me it's VISIT GALLAGHERS STEAK HOUSE, the place is awesome and by far the very best steak house in vegasMore
We arrived at Circus Circus on Tuesday the 14th and parked in the self parking garage on the 4th level. When we went to leave Saturday morning the 18th we got to our vehicle to find our back window was busted. We drive a 4 door Dodge Ram truck. They didn't take much but they did take my daughters bat bag with her softball stuff in it. I had some signed baseballs, a bottle of wine, and some new shirts they didn't take. What was weird was they pulled out my daughters batting helmet and some trash that was in her bag. They took some spare change that was in the console ($5 worth max). I realize this is not completely Circus Circus fault as I should have parked valet and I should have not left the bat bag in the vehicle. I will say that security was helpful and did take a report. I can't follow up on the report with my insurance until Monday. Our stay was good, room was clean and comfortable. Casino smelled like smoke but what Casino doesn't. Would be nice if the maids could speak a little English.More
