The adults-only Hotel Riu Le Morne has a relaxed pool scene, lots of dining options, and a lively activities programme.
You'll find contemporary bedrooms and freshly painted public spaces in earthy shades typical of Mauritius.
The complex occupies a spot on the UNESCO-listed Le Morne peninsula, in the south-west of Mauritius. It’s fronted by a bone-white beach, and watched over by a towering, mountain-like rock that the area is named after.

Very nice and animated atmosphere. Had a wonderful end of holidays. Food way better than expected and admired a beautiful sunset from the pool. The staff are very warm welcoming and specially the barman😜.More
We arrived at hotel at 8am after an eleven and half hour flight and one and half hour coach journey to one of the best welcomes ,prompt attention from reception staff and lovely welcome from the manager and instantly offered a full range of food for breakfast. The staff were really excellent from the manager right through all the time we were there. We had room 1276 on top floor and the view was out of this world and very very peaceful.A very big thank you to everyone who made our holiday very special at le Morne.More

Simply a great hotel with excellent staff & service
We booked this hotel as part of a package holiday with Thomson. We arrived on 2nd July 2017 and stayed for 2 weeks in room 1105. On arrival at 8 am we were greeted by Jay who took our cases and were given cool cloths and a fruit drink. As our room wasn't ready yet we were shown to the main restaurant where we had a lovely breakfast. Directly after this our room was ready and we made our way to it followed by Jay with our cases. Our room was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. The mini bar was stocked (replenished daily) and the safe was free as was the WIFI. The gardens and paths surrounding the hotel, and its sister hotel, the Riu Creole were kept neat and clean constantly. The pool bar was adjacent to the beach (and the pool). There was no shortage of seats and loungers. Late breakfast, lunch and snacks were also served here. Apart from the main restaurant there are several themed restaurants which can be booked (no charge) during your stay. All of the food and drink throughout the hotel was of a high quality with a great deal of choice to suit everyone. There is an onsite animation team who worked very hard to put on shows in the evening and worked with the children in the Riu Creole during the day. The highlight of this hotel is its staff who make every effort to speak to you and ensure that you are enjoying your holiday. They are very friendly and extremely hard working. To name some, without the others would be unfair as all were excellent. They are managed by Yash who seems to spend all waking hours at the hotel ensuring the happiness and comfort of his guests. As people have mentioned the weather can be quite windy while on the beach. This really suits wind and kite surfers and there are several companies nearby who will teach guests. There is quite a lot of broken coral on the beach so beach shoes are a must. The hotel is quite isolated and some distance from the main road. There are no shopping facilities (outwith the hotel shops) and taxis can be obtained adjacent to the hotel or through the tour rep. There were several excursions on offer and we picked the flavours & spice one which was great and the highlight being meeting the giant tortoises in the nature park. We also booked a taxi to the capital which is nice and worth seeing. The market, however, was not to our taste as it was crowded and as an obvious tourist we were not given a minutes peace. As we live in Scotland, we travelled to Gatwick the day before and then had a flight time of over 11 hours to get to Mauritius. We consider this a small inconvenience for the chance to stay at a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings and excellent staff. We would love to return in the future.More

The hotel is a very good value for money. You cannot expect the same level of expectations (decors, style etc) compare to a new branded hotel. However the room was clean, all linen new, staff was very helpful especially to Hardas from the housekeeping department. Even at the restaurant my son wanted chicken burger which the Deputy General Manager, Dajee and Rajnish immediately did needful though we were on a buffet. I will strongly advise same especially for those who want to enjoy a family time together.More
Not the worst - defiantly not the best.
Overall the places is alright. The rooms a quit big - the showers is like extremely big. Close to the beach and the surf. The food is average - though kolonarium is a bit above average. The Asia restaurant has terrible service. Didn't have any noticeable good drinks at any bars but they where drinkable. I did notice 2 big service failures. The first one is the hotel director laughing at me the fourth time I came down to the reception with a door lock not working.. The second. I ordered a hot chocolate one night at the bar with the live music. I got told I could make it myself at a machine standing behind the bar. Didn't happened any other night with any other waiter though. Still shouldn't happened that one night. More
