2 outdoor pools
There are 2 outdoor pools here - one of which overlooks the ocean. They're decked out with sunbeds and parasols.
The restaurant here serves up buffet spreads for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At breakfast, there are American and Continental options, and come lunchtime, pizzas, pasta, salads and desserts are on offer. In the evenings, you've got another varied selection of dishes to choose from, as well as show cooking stations. This place has a terrace to dine out on as well. Just so you know, there's a dress code here - men need to wear shirts with sleeves.
One of the best places to windsurf is just off the coast of Mauritius. You can try your hand at it here for free.

Excellent stay in family
Excellent staff, Christophe, Ashna at reception and the staff at restaurant - very very nice and not "commercial". We really enjoyed, and the location is just amazing. More kids would have been maybe better for my boys to enjoy the events and activities foreseen for themMore
Execellent highly recommended
The staff are nice and helpful The entertainment team are brilliant You couldn't ask for better service In the daytime there is always something on by the pool wether it be water polo, the club dance or aqua gym there is always something to get you motivated More
A few minor flaws but otherwise a great hotel
This could be a truly amazing hotel. It's situated right on a beautiful beach. The views are something to behold with LeMorne dominating the western horizon. The staff are great too. Genuinely go out of their way to talk to you and enteratin the children. The buffet is delicious. No tummy troubles in sight. Did get slighly dull after 2 weeks, but still plenty of daily variety. It's not without its flaws though. We were situated alongside the entrance road and for reasons I'm still not sure of, the transfer times are outrageously early. That meant the odd night listening to buses reversing at 4:30 in the morning. It seemed to die right down by the second week though, so we stuck with the room as it was ground floor and so close to the beach. The location means you are a £15 return taxi journey away from the nearest tourist-priced supermarket. The two on-site shops are a joke, basically containing the sort of tat you would regret buying once you got home. And boy is it pricy. The only useful thing I could find was a snorkel, which was £30 !! And as somebody else mentioned, the staff play the music in the pool at concert levels. Why? If they took a look around at the demographic they'd see this wasn't some 18-30 holiday to Magaluf. We stuck to the beach! PRO TIP: Don't book excursions via the rep. We managed to get a discount on the dolphin swim and south-west taxi tours by asking around. Be sure to go as early as you dare for the dolphins as well. By 9:00 there's a swarm of boats which effectivelyl scatters the dolphins so wide they're hard to see. We got there at 7:30 and had some fantastic close-ups! On the whole though, this was a great hotel and it wouldn't take much twisting of the arm to actually go there a second time. And that's saying a lot for our family.More
Perfect island getaway
This resort was recommended to us by our travel agent. We decided to go with an all inclusive package at this particular resort and to date have not regretted our decision. The restaurant staff from Manisha to the chefs on staff were outstanding. All members at the resort went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a fabulous stay. I will admit the resort is a bit far away from the airport and city attractions but the direct beach access and resort activities more then made up for this. We had a very comfortable room and no shortage of food or beverages. We regretted having to leave but if we have the choice in future will endeavour to return. More

We always stay in Riu hotels and have enjoyed our every stay, from this hotel it has a lovely location and friendly staff lovely food but from what we experienced the show cooking station wasn't that lively and didn't see anything happening infact food was ready and kept compared to other Riu hotels that we have stayed we could make our choice of omelettes or even pasta (the choice of ingredients we had in previous hotels) also the snack corner didnt have much choice but overall nice stay, One must visit Bangalore if you want to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. The rooms were kept clean everyday with different bed decoration. Apart from all the above it was very upsetting that we were not given packet breakfast when we had an early checkout and were told that snack is there 24 hrs but when we when in the morning the snack was from last night that means the hotel wanted us to have a stale sandwich I failed to understand why couldn't the hotel not serve a pack breakfast for early checkout as airport is 60 miles or serve a cold breakfast we had to leave without food at 6,30 and didn't get anything to eat till we reached the airport that was almost 8,30 i was very upset regrading this so would advice to take fruits or keep some pack snack with you'll.More
